Individual Coaching Supervision
A confidential space to reflect, restore, and grow
As a coach, you spend a great deal of time holding space for others. Individual Coaching Supervision creates a dedicated space for you to step back from the work, explore what is happening within your coaching relationships, and gain greater clarity about how you want to move forward.
Supervision is not an evaluation of your coaching. It is a reflective, developmental partnership designed to help you understand your experiences more deeply, recognize patterns, work through ethical or relational challenges, and continue growing as a confident and grounded practitioner.
What We May Explore
Each session is shaped around what is most important to you. You may bring:
- A client situation that has stayed with you
- An ethical concern or professional boundary question
- A coaching relationship that feels difficult or stuck
- Emotional reactions, assumptions, or recurring patterns
- Questions about your role, presence, or effectiveness
- The impact of your coaching work on your wellbeing
- A success you want to understand and build upon
- A professional transition, challenge, or developmental goal
You do not need to arrive with everything figured out. Bring the situation, the question, or even the feeling that something needs attention. We will explore it together.
What You Can Expect
Through our work, you will have an opportunity to:
- Reflect more deeply on your coaching practice
- Strengthen ethical awareness and professional judgment
- Recognize patterns that may influence your coaching
- Explore challenging client relationships with greater clarity
- Develop your coaching presence and self-awareness
- Protect your energy and attend to your professional well-being
- Identify strengths and meaningful areas for continued growth
- Make thoughtful, grounded decisions about your work
Our conversations may draw upon reflective approaches such as the Seven-Eyed Model, Gibbs’ Reflective Cycle, Borton’s Model of Reflection, and other supervision frameworks appropriate to your needs.

ICF Credential-Renewal Credit
ICF-credentialed coaches may count up to 10 hours of coaching supervision—received, delivered, or a combination of both—toward the Core Competency Continuing Coach Education requirements during each three-year credential-renewal cycle.
Supervision may be completed individually, in a group, or through a combination of both formats.
Please note that coaching supervision does not replace mentor coaching required for an initial ICF credential application. ACC coaches renewing their credential must also meet ICF’s separate mentor-coaching requirement.
To claim eligible supervision hours, ICF may ask you to provide:
- Your coaching supervisor’s name
- Your coaching supervisor’s email address
- The beginning and ending dates of supervision
- The total number of supervision hours received
You will receive documentation of the individual supervision hours completed with Ken.
Begin Your Supervision Journey
You do not have to wait until something goes wrong to begin supervision. Supervision provides a place to remain intentional, ethically grounded, professionally supported, and connected to the kind of coach you want to be.
Schedule your first individual coaching supervision session and give yourself the same quality of space that you provide to your clients.
Frequently Asked Questions
How does the monthly subscription work?
Your subscription includes one 60-minute individual coaching supervision session each month. Your payment is processed monthly and the subscription continues until canceled. You may cancel before your next billing date to prevent the following month’s charge.
What happens if I need to reschedule or do not use my session?
Sessions may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice. Unused sessions may be carried forward for up to one additional month while the subscription remains active. Sessions do not accumulate beyond that period.
Can coaching supervision count toward ICF credential renewal?
Yes. ICF credential-holders may count up to 10 hours of coaching supervision, whether received, delivered, or a combination of both, toward the Core Competency CCE requirements during each credential-renewal cycle.
Does coaching supervision replace mentor coaching for an ICF credential?
No, coaching supervision cannot replace mentor coaching. Mentor coaching focuses on the ICF Core Competencies, while supervision provides broader support for the coach’s development.
What is the difference between coaching supervision and mentoring?
Coaching supervision is a reflective process that focuses on a coach’s overall development, providing support for managing client-related challenges, ethical dilemmas, and personal growth. In contrast, mentoring focuses on helping the coach improve their skills in alignment with the ICF Core Competencies, often in preparation for an ICF credential.
