Winsome Wednesdays in the Park Pilot Group

win·some
/win.səm/ adjective

Lighthearted and cheerful; engaging because of a childlike charm. Pleasing with simple qualities. Appealing in character; sweetly charming in an open and delightful way.

Winsome Wednesdays are all about cultivating joy, freedom and meaning in the ordinary and often hidden things in life. Help shape future contemplative gatherings through this pilot group, running from Nov. '25 through Jan. '26.

Our drop-in, bi-monthly meetups are local in-person gatherings that aim to cultivate authentic shared experiences with like-minded, kindred hearts around meaningful topics relating to connection, stress resilience, and sweet friendship with God. We also save intentional time soaking in God’s presence through prayer by way of art and music/worship expressions.

We “workshop” the imponderabilia of life together: the worthwhile and often hidden things that are hard to name that we sense in us and around us. We anticipate encountering the presence of God’s Love to inform and form us from the inside-out with sacred biblical Truth—while cultivating joy, meaning and purpose for the ordinary things in life.

You are invited to slow down, connect to yourself and to God— as we together re-calibrate our hearts, minds and bodies to the boundless mystery of sacred Love, in sweet community.

Who is this for?
Hungry hearts and open, curious minds longing for authentic connection, truth and ready to encounter the presence of Love.

How you’ll benefit:
Through Spirit-led and trauma-sensitive guidance, we'll be offering fresh perspectives that stir curiosity as to how we can experience life, God and relationships with a renewed sense of hope and grace. You’ll deepen your knowledge while being encouraged with valuable insights and practical tools. We’ll engage in rich, heartfelt conversations around meaningful subjects.

The hope is for individuals to experience a feeling of togetherness, and go home with a renewed sense of hope in how to navigate life with God.

  • Connecting to myself, increasing trust within
  • Connecting with God’s presence, filling up with Spirit-Led Love
  • Friendship with God
  • Healing-Centered Love, why does some “love” seem off?
  • 4 S's (Seen, Soothed, Safe, Secure): A Recipe for Connection
  • Stress/typical responses, overcoming autopilot with stress resilience to cope with difficulties & challenges
  • Slowing down to pause and anchor in our bodies, minds, hearts
  • Finding balance through self-regulation and co-regulation with others
  • Cultivating self-compassion and developing rhythms of rest and grace
  • Spiritual practices as self-care strategies

What you’ll need:
  • Curiosity towards yourself, faith, and others
  • Open hands and willingness to explore and deepen your learning
  • Open communication to express your thoughts and perspectives
  • Readiness to take meaningful steps towards growth and wholeness
  • Commitment to following group participation guidelines
  • A journal & pen to jot down insights

A note about our shared space:
Winsome Wednesdays aim to facilitate authentic conversations as a shared collective. Each heart will have the opportunity to share their voice, insights and lived experiences focused around the weekly topic. The facilitated time is not designed for individuals to delve deeply into personal matters for extended periods of time. After our 90-minute gathering, we absolutely welcome an overflow of 1:1 personal connections and conversations!

We are building towards a sense of community around meaningful topics. The hope is to stir opportunities for personal growth and deeper connections and friendships to develop amongst collective hearts beyond bi-weekly gatherings.

Testimonials

“Andy’s teaching style, sharp humor, and grounded wisdom gave me permission to embrace my story, reframe old patterns, and step fully into a life led with grace and compassion. Andy challenged me with love and encouragement and I will always be grateful for. I now feel equipped to manage my life and my work with a new sense of calm, purpose, and joy. Andy didn’t just teach us tools; she modeled a way of being that I’m carrying into everything I do. Thank you, Andy, for making this journey both profoundly meaningful and genuinely fun. Andy has left a mark on me, and I can’t wait to pass the ripple forward to the people I lead, coach, and love.”
