Pitch Perfector: Email Feedback Service
Pitch Perfector is here to give you constructive, practical feedback on your email pitch to give you the best possible chance of landing a paid writing gig with your dream publications.

What to expect:

  • Detailed feedback
  • Hints and tips based on my 7 years of writing for publications
  • Comments annotated on a Google doc you can download and keep
  • Actionable changes that will instantly improve your pitch

Note: I may correct your grammar a little, but this is more about the structure and content of your email. The ingredients to a pitch email are very specific so I want to help you include them ALL to maximise your chance of success!

My experience:

I've been writing for online and print magazines for over 7 years. I've been published in Grazia, Hello!, iPaper, Refinery29, Metro, Happiful, Reader's Digest and Healthline. I've also written and published two non-fiction books. I learned on the job, so I'm proof that you can be published without any previous journalism experience.

How to submit your work:

  1. Once you sign up, I'll send you an email requesting your words.
  2. Reply to that email with up to 750 words as an attachment (please submit Word or Google Doc only
  3. Within 48 hours you'll receive your feedback (but I aim for same day!)

Client Feedback
“ I just wanted to let you know how helpful the feedback and suggestions I received from you were when I was drafting my novel. Your comments in the margins made it easy to revise the file and understand where I could flesh out the scenes. Reiterating my strengths and the possible changes at the end of the document was clear and valuable as I continued writing my story. ”

“ The feedback I got back was like GOLD to me! I know exactly what’s working and what areas I need to work on. Instead of wasting time, I can focus on the things I need to improve. ”
