 My Story: From Anxious Overachiever to Grounded Guide


Hi, I’m Shannon—and I’m so glad you’re here.
Before breathwork and meditation, I lived with a constant hum of anxiety I didn’t even recognize—I just thought I was "high energy." But under the surface? I was stuck in cycles of fear, regret, and overwhelm.
I tried meditation for years but could never stick with it. My mind was loud. I’d get frustrated. I’d give up.
Everything changed when I discovered breathwork—and later, effortless meditation.
Together, they unlocked something I didn’t think was possible: a calm, clear, energized version of myself I had never known. And now? These practices are the cornerstone of my life—and the foundation of Wild Breath.

I felt the need to write this to you to express how much your intensive Wild Breath program helped me. I am not exaggerating when I say it was life-changing. I embarked on this journey with much trepidation and, quite frankly, a bit of skepticism. Primarily because I need to find peace and calm throughout my daily life. 99% of the time, I need to decompress in the middle of a situation that simply won’t allow me to find a quiet place to spend 10 minutes to calm down. I feel like you’ve given me a toolbox to carry around with me and I have a choice of options when my blood pressure goes up and I feel a volcano building in me. After four weeks, I can already see that my automatic instant responses are changing. With ongoing practice, I see myself becoming a person of authenticity, truth and grace. (I can’t even believe it’s me who just wrote that!).
As someone who wants the “facts and just the facts”, I feel so empowered by what I have learned about the connection of mind and body. Seeing the science behind the practices has allowed me to become more spiritual, more forgiving and more self-confident. Combining the breathwork with improving my negative self-talk, I can honestly say I’m beginning to like the person I’m becoming.
