A 90-minute guided session for couples to discover each other’s executive functioning and sensory “wiring” how you each process the world, handle daily tasks, and respond to your environment.
This isn’t about “fixing” anyone. Many couples are surprised to learn that certain tensions or misunderstandings aren’t personal or “psychological” at all, they’re the result of different brain wiring and sensory needs.
You’ll walk away with:
- A clearer picture of each other’s sensory and executive functioning styles
- Practical ways to reduce friction in daily life
- Language to talk about your needs without blame or shame
- Tools to make your home, routines, and relationship more supportive for both partners
Why This Matters Especially for Neurospicy Couples
Neurodivergent people often have what’s called a “spiky profile” we might be exceptional at one executive functioning skill and really struggle with another.
We might be highly sensitive to one type of sensory input and barely notice another. When one or both partners are neurodivergent, these differences can easily be misunderstood. Without this awareness, it’s common to misread behaviors (“They’re ignoring me,” “They don’t care,” “They’re lazy”) when, in reality, it may be about sensory overload, shifting attention, or fluctuating energy levels.
By seeing your relationship through a sensory and executive functioning lens, you can:
- Build compassion for each other’s differences
- Create a shared “map” for navigating life together
- Reduce tension and unnecessary arguments
I provide an affirming and supportive space for clients of all sexual orientations, gender identities, and relationship structures, including LGBTQ+, polyamorous, and consensually non-monogamous relationships.
