Week 3 Creative Expression:
Unmasking Me: Exploring Identity Beyond Grief
This collage mask-making class invites you to creatively explore the difference between your grief and your true self. By crafting a mask that reflects the thoughts and feelings tied to your grief, alongside elements representing your core identity, you will visually distinguish what belongs to the loss and what belongs to you. This therapeutic art exercise supports self-discovery and healing, acknowledging that the process can be messy but profoundly rewarding. Embrace the journey of reconnecting with who you are beyond your grief.

Week 6 Creative Expression:
The Heart’s Vessel: Creating Your Grief Bowl
In this therapeutic art session, you will create a personal clay bowl using air-drying modelling clay. As you mold your bowl, you will be invited to view the bowl as a symbolic vessel that holds their grief and emotional weight. The tactile, hands-on process of shaping the clay offers a mindful, sensory experience that encourages expression, release, and healing. Once the bowl is formed and partially dried, you will place meaningful cut out words inside, visually and physically representing the act of holding both pain and meaning.

Week 8 Creative Expression:
The Art of Self-Love: Cultivating Kindness Through Creativity
How do you treat yourself? What words do you use when you speak to yourself? Do you often put your own needs last? The answers to these questions reveal your current level of self-love. Self-love is not a destination but an ongoing journey—something we must continually nurture and relearn.
In this transformative art therapy session, you'll engage in a creative activity designed to reflect on your relationship with yourself. Using expressive art-making, you will explore how to cultivate deeper love, kindness, and compassion within your self-care practice. This gentle and insightful process invites you to reconnect, recharge, and foster a more nurturing inner dialogue.
