Introducing Strong Foundations

Strong Foundations is a 90-day, 1-on-1 strength training programme designed specifically for women who are beginning (or beginning again) their strength journey. This isn't about pushing you harder or faster. It's about building sustainable strength that lasts.

In my private home studio, you'll learn the fundamental movement patterns—squatting, lunging, pressing, rowing—starting with bodyweight and progressing at your own pace to bands and dumbbells. No gym anxiety. No judgment. No rushing.

Personalized Progression

Your programme is co-created with you. Some clients progress to weights within two weeks; others take longer. We move when YOU'RE ready, not when a generic programme says you should.

Holistic Health Approach

Strength training is just one piece. We also address nutrition, sleep, and stress management—because sustainable results require looking at your whole life, not just your workouts.

What's included:

  • 24 x 1-to-1 sessions over 90 days (2 per week, 60 minutes each)
  • 45 minutes of strength training per session—learning proper form, building foundational patterns, progressing at your pace
  • 15 minutes of health coaching per session—addressing nutrition, sleep, and stress management individually
  • Comprehensive onboarding session - health history review, movement assessment, goal setting
  • Access to wellness resource library - yoga sessions, breathwork practices, guided meditations to support recovery and balance
  • Progress tracking throughout - strength gains, consistency, how you feel
  • End-of-programme consultation—reviewing your progress and discussing next steps for continued success
  • Messaging support—ask questions between sessions (24-hour response time)


The "Soft but Strong" Methodology

This programme is built on a simple philosophy: sustainable strength comes from balance, not extremes.

Your two weekly training sessions provide structure and expert guidance. Additional movement from the resource library (yoga, breathwork, meditation) is recommended but not required. There's no pressure to do more than what feels right for your body and your life.

We progress intensity gradually, honor recovery, and focus on building habits that last beyond these 90 days. This is about becoming strong AND sustainable.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any experience with strength training?
No! This programme is designed specifically for beginners or those returning to exercise. We start from wherever you are and progress at your pace.

What if I have injuries or limitations?
We'll address this in your initial consultation and health history intake. The programme is adapted to work with your body, not against it. If you have concerns, I recommend getting medical clearance from your GP before starting.

Where do sessions take place?
All sessions are held in my private home studio—a judgment-free, distraction-free space just for you. No gym crowds, no intimidation.

What if I can't commit to 2 sessions every single week?
Consistency is important for results, which is why 2 sessions per week is the programme structure. However, life happens—with proper notice, sessions can be rescheduled within the same monthly period. We'll find a schedule that works for you.

I'm perimenopausal/menopausal. Will this programme work for me?
Absolutely! This programme is designed with your life stage in mind. Strength training is one of the most important things you can do during this transition—for bone health, metabolism, mood, and overall wellbeing. We'll work with your body's needs.

What happens after 90 days?
At the end of the programme, we'll have a comprehensive review session. You'll have the option to transition to online programming (with continued health coaching), extend one-on-one training for another 30 days, or graduate to train independently. The choice is yours based on how confident you feel.

Do I need to follow a specific diet?
No restrictive diets required! The health coaching component helps you understand nutrition principles that support strength training and your overall health. We work on sustainable changes that fit your life, not temporary fixes.
