BIPOC and immigrant communities living in the West are often forced to mute various parts of their identity in order to fit in society. Because our society wasn’t built for people of color. In this workshop, we will work together on healing our racial trauma, getting more comfortable with our identities and values, and learn how to push back collectively.

Why This Course
We created this course because in our conversations with Asians, BIPOC, and immigrant community members, the topics of assimilation, code switching, and hiding parts of our identity keep coming up again and again. We wanted to share the tools and tips that we have found on our journey to help others on their racial healing journey.

What You Get:
Four weekly live sessions on the topics below and guided reflection sections during each session.
  • Week 1, My chameleon colors: Learning the different facets of my identity
  • Week 2, The fears of the jungle: Why it’s easier to assimilate than to be authentic
  • Week 3, My true colors: Embracing my intersectional identity and the values that matter the most
  • Week 4, Belonging in the jungle: Taking my place in the collective community to push for change
