DISC Birds Communication Program – Program Description
Understanding how you naturally communicate—and how others experience you—is a foundational skill for leadership, collaboration, and long-term success. When people know how they think, respond under pressure, and prefer to receive feedback, communication becomes clearer, conflict becomes more productive, and performance improves.

That’s why behavioral style frameworks like DISC are so widely used in organizations. DISC is a behavioral model originally developed from the work of William Moulton Marston, and it identifies four primary communication and behavior tendencies: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness, and Conscientiousness.

Each style brings distinct strengths, stress responses, motivators, blind spots, and communication preferences. 

The DISC Birds approach translates these styles into an accessible, practical framework that helps individuals and teams:

Program Timeline (Suggested)

Step #1 – Assessment
 
Timeframe depends on your calendar and availability: Employees complete the DISC assessment prior to training.

Step #2 - Workshop #1 (VIRTUAL): Scheduled approximately two weeks after assessments are completed.

Step #2 – Workshop #2 (Follow-Up)
 
Timeframe depends on your calendar and availability(30 to 45 days after Workshop #1): 60-minute virtual follow-up workshop focused on reinforcing behaviors, reviewing real jobsite experiences, and adjusting communication strategies.

Neutral DISC assessment completed prior to the workshop with aggregated insights used to tailor facilitation.

2) Workshop #1 – Virtual (90–120 Minutes)
Virtual facilitation for up to 25 employees including Bird-style DISC framework, industry-specific examples, breakout activities, and take-home reference materials.

3) Workshop #2 – Virtual Follow-Up (60 Minutes)
Scheduled 30 to 45 days after Workshop #1 to reinforce behaviors and address real jobsite scenarios.
