Illuminate Immersion: Miryam From Bitter Waters to Waters of Strength
Consider this your invitation to immerse yourself in the waters of Miryam, from bitter to strong.
I'm Linda Hannigan, and I've spent the last seven years researching and teaching women in Scripture, women most of us were never taught to look for. That work has taken shape in studies like Women Around the Cross, Women Who Co-Labored with Paul, Samaria, Wells & a Woman, First Ladies: A Study of the Women of Genesis, Built as Eve: Women of Wisdom, and currently, Women of Deliverance, a study of the women of Exodus.
This Immersion pulls from a two-part study I taught this summer on Miryam within Women of Deliverance and brings it into a single, focused gathering.
What to Expect
- Short teachings and hosted conversation exploring all four episodes of Miryam's life, from sea to death
- A name study rooted in the Hebrew, tracing how Miryam's name holds both bitterness and strength
- Guided reflection to bring your own season, transition, or buried younger self into the room
- Our usual Illuminate "Living Room Lab" format: short teaching, then quiet space to reflect on what surfaces for you. Sharing is always optional
- Bring a journal and something to write with
