Frequently Asked Questions
What happens after I book?
You'll receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link and a brief intake form to help us make the most of our time together. For Interview Prep sessions, please send a description of the opportunity you are applying to and a copy of your resume so I can get a sense of your experience, strengths and skills in relation to the position.
What's your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
Life happens! Please provide at least 24 hours notice if you need to reschedule. Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours notice will forfeit the session fee.
What if I need help with a specific topic that isn't one of the three choices?
The Quick Dive Review is specifically scoped to resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn — those are the areas where 30 minutes is enough time to make a real difference. For anything else — interview prep, a workplace situation, a career decision you're weighing, or any other specific question — the Advisory Session is the better fit. It's a full 50 minutes and completely open in terms of topic.
What if I need more than 30 minutes?
If you realize partway through a Quick Dive that you need more time, we can schedule a follow-up session. For situations you know are complex, the 50-minute session might be a better fit from the start.
