I’ve had several ski holidays and felt like every time I went my skiing got worse instead of better. I was getting more and more anxious to the point I almost cancelled my holiday. Learning to ski as an adult isn't easy, but it is somewhere near impossible when your level of fear stops you from even being able to try. I had been on ski holidays in the past and each experience had been a hard slog through a week of tears, frustration, fear, tiredness, anxiety and a knot in my stomach. Do I need to be a skier?
You don't need to be an expert skier, but you should have some skiing experience and a desire to feel more confident on the mountain.
Will we discuss ski technique?
The focus is on mindset, confidence and the emotional side of skiing.
If technical instruction would be beneficial, I'll tell you honestly, but many skiers already have the technical ability and simply need support rebuilding trust in themselves.
