This is a gentle, 6-week series of outdoor meditation sessions held in the natural setting of Warren Woods, Ashford.

We’ll meet weekly on:
19 June · 26 June · 3 July · 10 July · 17 July · 24 July
6:45pm – 8:00pm

Together, we’ll step out of the busyness of everyday life and into a slower, more spacious rhythm—supported by nature, simple practices, and a small, consistent group.

Each week we will meet at the car park and walk together into the woods (approximately 10 minutes over uneven ground). Sessions will include a blend of light physical movement, guided meditation or visualisation, time for quiet, silent sitting, and a gentle grounding before returning.

As the weeks unfold, the sessions will follow a natural progression—beginning with arriving and settling, and gradually opening into deeper connection, softening, and integration. We begin in the light of the day and close as the evening softens, allowing the changing light to support the practice.

This is a trauma-sensitive space where everything is invitational. You are always free to take part in a way that feels right for you—whether that means moving, resting, listening, or simply being present in your own way.

No previous experience of meditation is needed.

What do I need to bring?
Please bring anything you need to be comfortable outdoors:
  •  A chair, cushion, or mat to sit on 
  •  Warm layers (it can cool quickly in the evening) 
  •  Comfortable, sturdy footwear 
  •  Insect repellent 
  •  Water 
  •  Optional: blanket, hat, small torch for later weeks
What happens in a typical session?
We’ll meet at the car park and walk together into the woods (around 10 minutes).
Each session includes some light movement or a warm-up, a guided meditation or visualisation, time for quiet sitting, and a gentle grounding before returning. 
What if the weather is bad?
We will work with most weather conditions, including light rain.
Sessions will only be cancelled if conditions are unsafe (such as high winds or storms). If a session is cancelled, you will be informed as early as possible. 
Do I need any experience with meditation?
Not at all. These sessions are open to everyone, whether you’re completely new or have an existing practice. Everything is gently guided and invitational. 
Is the walk suitable for everyone?
The sessions take place in a natural woodland setting, accessed via uneven terrain (a 10 minutes walk), and sadly are not wheelchair accessible.
I will always do my best to accommodate different needs where possible—for example, supporting participants who are deaf or visually impaired. Please feel very welcome to get in touch to discuss what might help you feel able to attend.
What if I arrive late?
We will leave the car park promptly at 6:45pm.
Once the group has entered the woods, it may not be possible to join, so please aim to arrive a few minutes early. 
Do I have to talk or share?
No. Sharing is always optional.
You are welcome to simply take part in the practices and have your own quiet experience. 
What if I feel anxious or uncomfortable?
Everything is invitational, and you are always free to opt in or out of any part of the session.
You can keep your eyes open, move, rest, or step away at any time. You are encouraged to take care of yourself in whatever way feels right. 
How many people will be in the group?
The group is intentionally small, with a maximum of 10 participants, to create a calm and held space. 
Can I book individual sessions?
This is a 6-week series, and booking is for the full course.
This helps create a sense of continuity and safety within the group.
