Voice Foundations
This is a focused 3-session container for those who feel called to open their voice in a deeper way — but aren’t yet ready to commit to a longer program.

Over the course of these sessions, we’ll begin working directly with the core principles behind the Song of the Soul method:

  • Releasing the habitual tensions that keep the voice closed
  • Awakening the body’s natural resonance pathways
  • Beginning to access a more grounded, supported, and expressive voice
  • Exploring what it means to sing in a ceremonial or intentional space

Most people experience a noticeable shift in their voice and internal state even within the first session.

Who this is for
  • You feel a genuine call to sing in creative, ceremonial or intentional spaces
  • You’ve worked with yoga or medicine and sense there is more available through your voice
  • You’re curious about this work, but want to experience it directly before committing to a longer container

Client Feedback
“ I’m so grateful for all the work you put into me this year helping me find my voice. It was like building a watch: we created the necessary pieces that came together to form my medicine voice. This past weekend, my icaros came through so beautifully and powerfully—I had you with me the entire time. ”

“ There’s a time to practice in ceremony, but what’s really great is when you’ve done your practice—so in ceremony, you can let it all go. That’s the whole point—but there’s so much work that needs to happen prior to that. Having someone on your side that is available to you, and can create a container for you—it’s all going toward that direction. ”
— Anon
“ I’ve experienced a really beautiful opening in my voice and creativity.
I had no musical background, and after studying with Eric for almost two years, I recorded my first song. Our work together allowed me to soften into my icaros and sing from a strong place of connection while dieting Bobinsana. ”

“ I was practicing the same icaros over and over, and I had this feeling I wanted to go deeper—to really nurture the plant language. Through this work, my whole body as a resonator was transforming—it felt like my whole system was changing.
There were moments in ceremony where my whole body became an instrument that sound could move through. I realized it’s not enough to just say the words—you have to know what they mean and sing them with intention. Something was happening to my system—I was changing into something that music can move through. ”

“ You teach in a very soft way, and working on your voice is such a vulnerable experience. You were able to give information in a way that made the vulnerability relax—for me as a student. The objective stuff you can get from anybody—but what channel is it coming through? That’s the most important thing. You being who you are was such a big thing. ”

“ Using the voice has been a pressure point. But voice work creates tangible, physical shifts. It moves the learning from the conceptual, from the mind, and into the body.
These exercises were and are an integral part of my integration. ”
