How you can feel more prepared for your session
Set Intentions, Not "Fixed" Expectations
Set Intentions, Not "Fixed" Expectations
Grief is non-linear and unpredictable. The goal of a session is not to leave "cured," but to feel seen, heard, and supported.
- Focus on the Present: Shift your focus from the past (regret) or future (fear) to what you need right now, in this current season of life.
- Keep Goals Loose: Instead of ambitious goals, set small, compassionate intentions such as, "I want to explore one way to honor my loss," or "I want to manage my anxiety around a specific trigger".
- Embrace Flexibility: Allow yourself to change your mind about what you want to discuss based on your energy that day
