You worked hard for your degree.
But in today’s job market, having the same qualifications as hundreds of other applicants often isn’t enough to distinguish you.
Today’s graduates understand the idea of a personal brand. But most learned branding through social media: how to present themselves online, what to post, how to shape perception from the outside in.
Professional positioning works differently.
Employers don’t just hire credentials. They hire people whose individual value and perspective feel clear and memorable.
That means being able to articulate:
- what makes you different
- how you naturally communicate and contribute
- what perspective you bring
- confidently and authentically
What It Is
An intensive program designed to help graduates define and communicate their personal brand in a way that feels strategic, grounded, and true to who they are.
Together, we’ll work through:
- identifying your differentiators
- uncovering recurring strengths and themes
- defining how you want to be perceived professionally
- clarifying your story beyond résumé language
- refining how you present yourself in interviews, networking conversations, LinkedIn, and applications
This isn’t about creating a polished online persona or turning you into an influencer. It’s about helping you understand what makes you memorable and how to communicate it clearly as you begin your career.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a personal brand?
Your personal brand is the combination of qualities, strengths, communication style, perspective, energy, and experiences that shape how other people experience you professionally.
It’s what makes two people with similar degrees, internships, or credentials move through the professional world differently.
A strong personal brand helps people quickly understand:
- how you naturally work
- what environments bring out your best
- what makes you distinct
- and what kinds of opportunities are most likely to align with who you are
The goal is not simply to stand out. It’s to communicate yourself clearly enough to attract opportunities, environments, and people that genuinely align with your strengths and working style.
That’s where this process comes in.
Is this career coaching?
Not in the traditional sense.
While we absolutely discuss practical tools like résumés, LinkedIn, networking, interviewing, and professional communication, the focus of this program is deeper: understanding how you naturally work, communicate, contribute, and differentiate yourself professionally.
Personal brand is the foundation.
Once you understand that foundation more clearly, the practical parts of the job search process become far more focused, intentional, and effective.
What kind of time commitment should I expect?
This program is intentionally designed to be thoughtful, manageable, and flexible.
Most students spend about a week preparing for the first session by completing the initial exercises and gathering materials. After our first meeting, students typically spend several days to a week working through the second round of exercises before Session Two.
The process concludes with a shorter follow-up check-in a few weeks later to discuss progress, questions, applications, interviews, or any areas where additional support may be helpful.
While the workbook is comprehensive, you are not expected to complete it all at once. The process is designed to unfold gradually through reflection, conversation, and guided discussion together.
