Perimenopause and menopause can feel out-of-control, like total upheaval.
But this transition wasn't historically considered the nightmare it is today in The West.
In this two-hour workshop, learn a bit about the science that has you burning up at night, and about what you can do for it beyond taking hormones.
(No shade at hormones! I take them and love them, but not everyone wants to and not everyone can.)
Together, we will practice a somatic meditation in which we cycle the fire element through our bodies in a very specific way, and generate watery energy to work with it rather than against it.
This practice derives from the Taoist tradition, from parts of the world where they still look at perimenopause not as an expiration date, but rather as a Second Spring.
Sauna will be hosted by Laodice Flannigan of Cedar and Sol.
Workshop will be led by Kate Carson of Nightbloom Coaching, drawing from her certifications in pelvic health coaching and sexuality and relationship coaching.
Best of all, we will be learning and practicing TOGETHER, in community and connection.
Wear anything you don't mind getting sweaty.
See you on The Common!
