What Curiosity Can Do That Willpower Can't A workshop for when you know what you should do — and still can't seem to do it
Most of us move from noticing we're stuck straight into trying to fix it. We push harder, make new plans, set new intentions — and when that doesn't work, we quietly start to wonder if the problem is us.
It usually isn't. But the way we've been approaching it often is.
This 90-minute workshop is built around a different starting point: getting genuinely curious about what's happening — before reaching for a solution — is not a soft or preliminary step. It's the thing that actually changes what comes next.
We'll spend our time together looking honestly at what the cycle of avoidance, paralysis, and starting over really involves, why insight and effort alone so rarely interrupt it, and what it looks like to turn toward a stuck place with curiosity instead of judgment. You'll leave with a clearer sense of what's actually been going on for you — and one small, real experiment to try.
This is not a productivity workshop. There are no hacks, systems, or formulas. What there is: a way of thinking about your experience that most people haven't been offered before, and a chance to feel what it's like to approach a hard problem without shame driving the conversation.
This is for people who are doing the work — or have done a lot of it — and are still running into the same walls. It's also a good starting point if you've been curious about working with a coach or therapist but aren't ready to commit to an ongoing process yet.
