“Who knows their own story? Certainly it makes no sense when we are living in the midst of it. It's all just clamor and confusion. It only becomes a story when we tell it and retell it.”
― Nick Cave
What meaning do you assign to the experiences you’ve been through? We often don’t understand the significance of even small events until later, sometimes years later, after we’ve had time to watch our lives meander and unfold in ways we never could have understood while we were journeying through them. And the meaning we assign to these events can deepen and change over time.
The labyrinth, used around the world as a spiritual and ceremonial tool since before the Common Era, is often seen as a metaphor for our own life paths and passages: we run into dead-ends and detours that seem like they are going nowhere but ultimately lead us to where we were going all along.
As a life and writing coach, I aim to support you in thinking and writing about your experiences to gain a clearer understanding of what significance they carry for you.
Reach out for a free discovery session to discuss your ideas for personal writing projects, reflective writing sessions, or other ways we might work together over three sessions (additional packages can be purchased after the first three).
