This is for you...
This Is for You If
- You have made it through the hardest part of leaving, and now you find yourself wondering: okay, what now?
- You still reach for the old rules when you make a decision, and you want to know what you would choose if no one was watching.
- You are not sure what you believe anymore, and you want a place to explore that without anyone steering you or waiting for your answer.
- Holidays, phone calls, or family visits still leave you shaky, and you want boundaries that actually hold.
- You were told you were too loud, too curious, too much, and part of you is starting to wonder if that is exactly where your life has been hiding.
- You catch yourself asking am I allowed to want this?, and you are ready to stop asking permission.
- You want friends who know who you are now, and a circle of women building forward alongside you.
What We Explore Together
Ten weeks, in two parts. Each week has one focus and one small thing to try.
Part One · The Rebuilding (Weeks 1 to 5)
From surviving to choosing.
- Week 1 · What do I want now? Setting an intention for this season.
- Week 2 · Your own values. Finding what matters to you, in your own words.
- Week 3 · What you believe now. Room for faith, doubt, or neither, with no pressure to decide.
- Week 4 · Boundaries built to hold. What a boundary is, and why guilt shows up.
- Week 5 · Family and the people still inside. Finding the kind of closeness that feels true.
Part Two · The Becoming (Weeks 6 to 10)
From choosing to coming alive.
- Week 6 · Desire. Letting yourself want again, starting with a list of ten small wants.
- Week 7 · Your voice. Saying or writing one true thing you have held back.
- Week 8 · Joy and the wild parts. A delight list, and one thing done purely for joy.
- Week 9 · The life you are choosing. Creating your Compass Page: one simple page to guide you.
- Week 10 · Growing wild. Sharing your Compass Page, closing the circle, and setting a reunion date.
Woven Throughout · Room for Your Real Life
Alongside the weekly themes, we make time to troubleshoot the situations you are actually facing, such as:
- Talking with your children about what you believe now, at their age
- A partner, co-parent, or grandparents who are still inside
- Weddings, funerals, baptisms, and holidays
- Work, friendships, or a small town tied to your old community
- Dating and making new friends
Bring your own situation anytime. Chances are, someone else has faced something similar.
How Each Week Feels
The same steady rhythm as all Wildwood groups: arriving, live teaching, quiet reflection, a sharing circle where you are simply heard, and one practice to carry into your week. Awakening is a little more active, with more to try between calls.
Sharing is always your choice. Cameras are optional.
What's Included
- Ten weekly 90-minute live group calls on [day and time, Eastern]
- A printable handout each week with the theme, prompts, and practice
- A small circle of 10 to 12 women
- Your finished Compass Page, built across the ten weeks
- A reunion call a couple of months after the group closes
What You Leave With
A clearer sense of who you are becoming, and women beside you who watched it happen. Along the way, you will build things you can hold onto:
- Your values, in your own words. Five values you chose yourself, written down, with what each one looks like in an ordinary day.
- A "What I Believe Today" page. Dated, honest, and allowed to change. A snapshot of where you are now, with room for faith, doubt, or neither.
- Boundaries you have actually practiced. At least one boundary you already keep and one you have tried for the first time, plus a simple boundary builder you can use again.
- Your own words for family. A few sentences for the hardest moments (holidays, pressure to come back, being prayed for) and a sense of the kind of closeness that feels right for you.
- A plan for your real-life situation. Whether it is talking with your children, a partner still inside, or a family wedding, you leave having talked it through and with a next step.
- Your list of ten wants. Proof, in your own handwriting, that you are allowed to want things.
- One true thing, spoken. Something you have held back, finally said or written, and a voice ladder for the next one.
- A delight list. The small things that bring you joy, so you can find them on hard days.
- Your Compass Page. One simple page, in your own words, to keep on the fridge or in your phone: your values, the boundaries you want to keep, what you want more of, and a few words for the hard days. Not a set of rules. Just a reminder of who you are when life gets loud.
- A plan for when the old voices return. Because they will, and now you will know what to do.
- Ten weekly handouts to return to whenever you need them.
- A reunion call a couple of months after the group closes.
- Friendships with women who know who you are now, built week by week in the circle.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this therapy?
No. Wildwood Awakening is a coaching group focused on reflection, practice, and building forward. It is not therapy or mental health treatment. If something comes up that needs clinical care, we'll help you find the right support.
Do I need to take Wildwood Return first?
[Return is a natural lead-in, but it isn't required.] If you already have some steadiness under you, a short call will help us see whether Awakening is the right place to start.
What if I still have faith?
You are welcome here. Awakening makes room for faith, doubt, or neither. No one will try to move you in any direction. The only goal is that what you believe is truly yours.
How do I join?
Every woman begins by filling out a brief questionnaire, followed by a short, friendly call to make sure the group is a good fit for where you are right now.
