This Is for You If

  • You have left, or are leaving, a high-control church, family, community, or relationship.

  • You feel unsteady, like the ground moved and hasn't quite settled.

  • You are grieving something, even the parts you are glad to be free of.

  • You still hear the old rules in your head, and you are tired of them running your life.

  • You have lost friendships, community, or closeness with family, and you feel more alone than you expected.

  • You want to be around women who get it, without having to explain everything.

What We Explore Together

Return moves through the first three stages of the Wildwood Framework, gently and in order. Safety comes before depth.

Weeks 1 and 2  ·  The Unraveling

Arriving as you are. Naming what came undone, and making room for the grief and the relief that often come together.

Weeks 3 to 5  ·  The Tending

Finding steadiness again. What safety feels like in your body, coming home to a body you were taught to distrust, and permission to go slowly.

Weeks 6 to 8  ·  The Excavation

Hearing the old voices for what they are. Gently examining one inherited belief at a time, and deciding what you want to keep, release, or keep wondering about.

How Each Week Feels

Every call follows the same gentle rhythm, so you always know what to expect:

  • A few minutes to arrive and settle.

  • Live teaching on the week's theme.

  • Quiet time to reflect and write, on your own.

  • A sharing circle, where anyone who wants to share is simply heard. No advice, no fixing.

  • One small practice to carry into your week.

You never have to share. Cameras are optional. Listening counts as showing up.

What's Included

  • Eight weekly 90-minute live group calls in EST time zone.

  • A printable handout each week with the theme, reflection prompts, and the practice

  • A small circle of 10 to 12 women

  • A personal written reflection from Elise at the close of the eight weeks

  • Rewrite the Rulebook, the Wildwood digital journal, free ($22 value), for further exploration of your beliefs at your own pace

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this therapy?
No. Wildwood Return is a coaching group, focused on support, reflection, and practice. It is not therapy or mental health treatment. If you are in crisis or need clinical care, please reach out to a licensed therapist. We'll help you find resources if anything comes up that needs more support.
Do I have to be completely out?
Not at all. Many women join while they are still in the middle of leaving, still attending, or still deciding. You are welcome wherever you are.
Do I have to talk about my faith or my family?
Only if you want to. Some women share a lot, others mostly listen. Both are welcome. And no one here will try to move you toward or away from any belief.
How do I join?
Every woman begins by filling out a brief questionnaire, followed by a short, friendly call to make sure the group is a good fit for where you are right now.
