Why Mockingbird?
The Mockingbird symbolizes adaptability and versatility, just like this program, which tailors itself to your unique learning style. With a wide range of tools and techniques, it supports your growth and development, ensuring you succeed in diverse coaching situations.
Program Features:
Flexible Format: Sessions are tailored to fit your schedule and learning preferences, allowing you to move at your own pace while maintaining focus on your professional development. Whether you're balancing a busy schedule or seeking more immersive learning experiences, the program adapts to meet your needs.
10 Hours of Mentoring: Delivered over three months, these 10 hours are designed for sustained growth, allowing time for reflection between sessions. This structure encourages gradual yet significant development, with each session building on the last to solidify your understanding and application of ICF standards.
Competency and Marker Focus: Each session will dive deep into the ICF competencies and PCC markers, providing a thorough understanding of what's expected at the highest coaching levels. You'll explore each competency in detail, focusing on active listening, evoking awareness, establishing agreements, and facilitating client growth. The program includes practical applications to integrate these competencies seamlessly into your coaching.
Interactive Learning: Engage in mock coaching sessions to apply your skills in real time or review recorded sessions with personalized, detailed feedback. This hands-on approach helps reinforce learning and identify areas for improvement, ensuring that you refine your skills with each interaction.
ICF Portfolio Documentation, Included: This program now includes the full documentation ICF requires for the Portfolio path, a written Session Observation Form after each of your three recorded sessions, and a final Competency Review to support your credential submission. This is handled as part of your mentoring relationship, not billed separately after the fact.
Practice Between Sessions, Included at No Extra Cost:
Full enrollment in The Coaching Comics Lab, so you can keep sharpening your session opens and closes (TIME and RIC) between mentoring hours.
Testimonials
I recommend Ken as a coaching mentor as well as for any other position that requires people development. Ken is an outstanding and continuous learner, and that's one of the reasons why he is such a great mentor, coach supervisor, and coach. I've met few people who read, memorize, learn, apply, and transfer the knowledge as he does. All this ignites his creativity, and he creates new and brilliant ideas. Thank you, Ken!

It's rare to come across a Coach Mentor with as much knowledge and heart as Ken. Ken has been a mentor for the past 2 years, first as Coach Development Lead at Bravely and now as Mentor-Coach Supervisor at Chance in Time Coaching. Mentoring coaches through their professional development requires not only a deep knowledge of the ICF competencies but also requires a deep love for the learning process and belief in the coach's ability to progress. Ken exemplifies both aspects as a coach mentor, alongside a lively sense of humor and deep wells of kindness. If you're looking for a Coach Mentor, to be your biggest cheerleader while also increasing your knowledge of the coaching process, I highly recommend working with Ken.
