ADHD Consultation

Spark ADHD Coaching & Consulting

Note: Consultations are for short term issues and are solution-focused as opposed to weekly coaching, which supports habit development and behavior change over time.

If an individual or family is seeking an immediate plan of action after a recent diagnosis, school or workplace event, or your needs are more pressing, consulting might be a better option.

If an adult, college student, or parent wants to better understand how ADHD impacts their life and aims to be more consistent with planning, managing time, staying organized, or wants to learn how to effectively manage a child or teen's ADHD behavioral symptoms, weekly coaching is likely a better option.

Testimonials

Meg helped me set goals for how I wanted my child's life to look at home and at school and to feel more confident creating the structures, routines, and reward systems that he needed to better self-regulate. She guided me in preparing my concerns and requests for his IEP meetings and attended one with me as an advocate, which I appreciated because her presence helped me stay calm. His school included nearly all of our suggestions into his new IEP and I'm already seeing an improvement with his teacher and peers.

Meg was generous with her time and knowledge. I learned about what a 504 Plan means for a private school student and how it can support the transition to public school. Before talking with Meg, I was shaky about how a big life transition will impact my kid. I left the conversation with validation that my kid is likely to succeed and achievable next steps with a timeline to make that happen.

Meg is a caring and compassionate professional. She offers constructive advice and suggestions from a place of both personal experience and decades of professional work. We had gone from therapist to specialist, looking for support for my children with ADHD. We mostly got the same old tips you can find anywhere on the internet. Meg came from a place of nonjudgement, with a flexible, solution-oriented approach, which was so refreshing. She continues to support our family, both through group and individual support. I highly recommend Meg to any family who is looking for answers or support around ADHD.

Meg has been doing ADHD coaching with my 20 yo daughter with significant ADHD. I already see my daughter implementing strategies from her coaching sessions. Additionally, we engaged in some family consultation sessions and Meg expertly facilitated which helped us as parents help our daughter move forward in her life. Meg's mental health background has been super helpful in navigating emotionally charged conversations.

Connecting with Meg has been such a beneficial experience. As an adult who was diagnosed later in life, she has helped me to find resources, connected me with a wonderful medical provider, and generally supported me on my journey. I owe her a huge debt of gratitude. I now feel that I am getting the support and help that I need to achieve my goals.

- K.M.

Meg is knowledgable, skilled, and responsive. She respects children as they are, while considering how best to help them succeed. If you've dealt with a child with behavioral issues, it's a relief to have her non-judgmental and compassionate support, and a judicious prescription for action.
