You send a recording. I listen to the session in full and work through the ICF Session Observation Form for your credential level. We meet for an hour to go through it together, and you receive the signed documentation.
What the form actually covers
It is a line by line account of your coaching, measured against the standard you are working toward.
At PCC, every one of the 37 PCC Markers across Competencies 3 through 8 is assessed as Observed or Not Observed, with written evidence from your session behind each one, quoted or timestamped. At ACC, 20 behavioral statements are rated on a four point scale against the ACC BARS, again with evidence for each. Both levels include the ethics qualifiers, and both close with detailed written feedback covering your areas of strength and your areas for development, each tied to specific moments in your session.
By the end you know exactly where your coaching sits, marker by marker, and exactly what the evidence for that is.

- Full review of one recorded coaching session

- A sixty minute one to one mentor coaching session
- A completed Competency Review Form
- Signed documentation as a PDF, yours to keep and to share with ICF if required
Who this is for
Any coach working at the ACC or PCC level who wants one to one mentoring on a real session of their own.
Some people come with a specific reason. A recording they want read before they submit it. An application that came back and left questions. An extension to work within. Others simply want to know how their coaching stands up against the standard. You do not need a reason beyond wanting to get better at this.

This is mentor coaching and documentation. It is not a guarantee of any credentialing outcome. ICF makes its own determination on every application, and I have no part in that decision. The Session Observation Form records what was demonstrated in the session you send me, which means where a marker is not observed, the form will say so. That honesty is what makes the documentation worth having.

From January 1, 2027, mentor coaching that counts toward an ICF credential must come from a mentor coach holding the MCS at the matching level. I hold it at all three.
