Is performance different when it matters?
Maybe you know can do it in practice, rehearsal, training, or the classroom, but something changes when the stakes rise.
Maybe it's overthinking, fear of mistakes, perfectionism, loss of confidence, difficulty recovering after something goes wrong, or simply the frustrating feeling that your performance doesn't consistently reflect what you know you can do.
That's what this conversation is about.
We'll spend time talking about what you're working toward, what seems to be getting in the way, and what you would like to be different. I'll ask questions, offer some initial thoughts about what I hear, and we'll consider whether performance coaching could be useful.
This is also your opportunity to learn more about how I work and ask questions about Breakthrough Performance Coaching.
Who is this for?
I work with athletes, musicians, performers, students, and other high achievers. Parents are also welcome to schedule a consultation to talk about whether coaching may be appropriate for their child or teenager.
There is no obligation to continue into coaching.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is this consultation really free?
Yes. The consultation is complimentary, and there is no obligation to purchase coaching afterward. It is simply a chance for us to talk about what is happening, what you would like to change, and whether I think performance coaching could be useful.
Who is performance coaching for?
I work with athletes, musicians, performers, students, and other people pursuing things that matter to them. You do not need to be an elite performer. What matters is that there is something you want to do well and that pressure, fear, perfectionism, overthinking, confidence, or another mental barrier seems to be getting in the way.
Can I schedule a consultation for my child or teenager?
Yes. Parents are welcome to schedule a consultation when they are considering performance coaching for a child or teenager. We can talk about what you are noticing, what your child is working toward, and whether coaching seems like an appropriate fit.
What happens during the consultation?
We'll talk about what you're working toward and what seems to happen when the stakes rise. I'll ask some questions, share my initial thoughts, and explain how I might approach the problem. You'll also have an opportunity to ask questions and decide whether Breakthrough feels like the right fit.
Is performance coaching therapy?
No. Performance coaching focuses on goals, skills, behavior, practice, and performance. Although my professional background includes mental health work, coaching is not psychotherapy or mental health treatment.
