BTB!: Pitch Package

What is this? Pitch Package is an 8-week coaching program to help you prepare to pitch your manuscript to an agent. We will work through the sticky spots in your query letter and synopsis and create a strategy for pitching your manuscript to agents. We begin with a 15-minute 1:1 Zoom call about your project, goals, and challenges and to set a timeline for deliverables. We follow with a review of  the first 20 pages of your manuscript, your query letter, and your synopsis. This includes inline suggestions, written comments, and a written editorial letter of your writing including strengths, challenges, and next steps. I will also do comp title research and agent research as part of your package.

How will we work together? We will meet for 15 minutes via Zoom to lay the foundation of our work together. You will then email me the first 20 pages of your manuscript, query letter, and synopsis. I will review your materials and return them to you with my feedback. I will also research comp titles and agents and send my research to you along with your reviewed documents and editorial letter. We will meet for 60 minutes via Zoom for a feedback and strategy call. After that call, you will have the opportunity to revise and resubmit your query letter and synopsis. I will review them and return them to you with your feedback. We will have a final 30-minute Zoom call to discuss feedback and celebrate your next steps.

Who is this for? Pitch Package is for you if you have a completed manuscript of your novel. This is a version of your manuscript that has been read by others and gone through multiple rounds of revision. I'm talking about something you would send out today to an agent. Will there always be something you can revise in your manuscript? Absolutely. But if you feel like you've done all you can do with your manuscript, and you're ready to release it to the world, then Pitch Package is for you.
