Our spacious evening under the starry sky, guided by mythic story and stellar meditations, we'll go star bathing . . .

During our Star Bathing mini-retreat evening:
✨ We'll begin with a circle of connection in the cozy, candle-lit kiva (a beautiful underground, round room), preparing ourselves to meet the darkness of our moonless sky.
✨ As night wraps us in a cloak of evening stars, we'll hear the mythology of several stars above, and there will be some guided nature meditations (including a drum-led journey) to attune more deeply with the night sky.
✨ And then each participant will be guided to a private resting spot nearby, so you can enjoy solo Star Bathing and inner reflections as you connect with the stars above, while feeling the Earth grounding you from below.
✨ After a short while, Alyson, Kaatje, and Don will bring you back to the group where our evening retreat concludes with sharing (always optional) and a dark-chocolate tasting. :-)
Your Guides:
Guided by Alyson Greene May, M.Ed. is a long-time nature guide, environmental educator, mythic storyteller, and astrologer.
Supported by Kaatje, who stewards the sacred land and kiva space where we gather, and who brings us all song and occasionally offers flute too.
Supported by Don May, who has been assisting Alyson in guiding nature adventures since 2013, and who offers a grounding presence as he skillfully helps folks step over sharp rocks and avoid trail-side prickles. :-)

When:
- Saturday, November 7
- Arrive by 5:50 pm to park & get settled in.
- We'll begin at 6:00 pm & end at 8:30 pm
What to bring:
- Sturdy walking shoes (for 2-3 minutes of walking over uneven ground, several times in the evening)
- Warm layers
- Warm hat
- Water bottle for hydration
- Flashlight (for AFTER the retreat ends, returning to cars); we'll be keeping our night-vision clear during the evening. (Alyson & Don will have red-light flashlights to guide us.)
- Nesting materials: Mat or thick towel for sitting and/or lying on the ground, OR a backjack or other low-to-ground chair if preferred for back support. Plus, a small pillow and warm blanket to be extra cozy.
