One-to-One Mindfulness Session

60 minutes | £120 | Online via Zoom

A little time to pause, reconnect and find your feet.

Perhaps you've been feeling stressed, overwhelmed or constantly caught up in your thoughts.

You might be curious about mindfulness but unsure where to begin. Or perhaps you've tried meditation before and found it difficult to maintain a practice.

A one-to-one mindfulness session gives you space to slow down, explore what's happening in your mind and body, and experience mindfulness in a way that feels comfortable and relevant to you.

There's no need to have practised mindfulness before, and there's no expectation that you should be able to switch off your thoughts or feel completely relaxed.

We'll begin wherever you are.

Who is this for?

This session might be helpful if you're:

  • New to mindfulness and would like some individual guidance.
  • Feeling stressed or overwhelmed and looking for ways to respond more mindfully.
  • Finding it difficult to slow down or switch off.
  • Interested in meditation but unsure which practices would suit you.
  • Returning to mindfulness after some time away.
  • Looking to develop or deepen an existing mindfulness practice.

What happens during the session?

We'll begin with a conversation about what has brought you to mindfulness and what you'd like to explore.

Depending on your needs and experience, I may introduce practices such as body scan, awareness of breathing, grounding or gentle mindful movement.

There'll be time to talk about your experience, ask questions and explore how you might bring mindfulness into everyday life.

The session is tailored to you, so we can spend more time practising, discussing or exploring particular difficulties with meditation.

A little about my approach

I have a Master's in Mindfulness-Based Approaches from Bangor University and experience teaching mindfulness through established approaches including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy and Coming To Our Senses.

My approach is warm, practical and grounded in the understanding that mindfulness isn't about clearing your mind, forcing yourself to relax or getting meditation right.

It's about developing awareness of your experience with curiosity, kindness and less judgement.

We'll explore practices that feel accessible and appropriate for you, without adding unnecessary pressure to your life.

One session, or ongoing practice?

You're welcome to book a single session without committing to anything further.

Some people simply want an introduction to mindfulness or support with a particular aspect of their practice.

Others may decide to continue with individual sessions or explore The Reset, my structured four-week mindfulness programme, which includes guided recordings, a personal workbook and weekly support.

There's no obligation to continue.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any experience of mindfulness?
Not at all. The session is suitable for complete beginners as well as people who have practised mindfulness before. We'll start with whatever feels comfortable and appropriate for you.
What happens during the session?
We'll talk about what you're hoping to gain from mindfulness and explore one or more guided practices, with time for questions and reflection. The session is tailored to your needs and experience.
Will I have to sit still and meditate for an hour?
No. The hour includes conversation, guided practice and reflection. You can sit, stand or move as appropriate, and all practices can be adapted to your needs.
What if I find meditation difficult?
That's absolutely fine. Many people find their minds wandering, feel restless or struggle to settle during meditation. These are ordinary experiences, and part of mindfulness is learning to notice them without judgement.
What's the difference between mindfulness and coaching?
Mindfulness sessions focus primarily on learning and experiencing mindfulness practices and understanding how to bring awareness into everyday life. Coaching focuses more on exploring particular challenges, patterns, decisions or changes you'd like to make.
What's the difference between a single session and The Reset?
A single session offers personalised mindfulness guidance around whatever feels most relevant to you. The Reset is a structured four-week programme that allows us to explore mindfulness in greater depth, with guided recordings, a workbook and support between sessions.
Can I book another session afterwards?
Of course. You're welcome to book individual sessions whenever you'd like further guidance or support with your practice. There's no requirement to commit to a programme.
