About Me

I am a certified NLP coach with a passion for helping people with chronic illness, rare disease or disability manage their symptoms so that they can live their best lives by mastering their mindset and focussing on wellness.  

Living with a chronic illness is tough, you know that for every bit of fun (or chore) there is a pay off in terms of how you will feel.  
 
When I was diagnosed I thought that I was the only one going through it. I was tired, in constant pain and thought that I would never be able to get my life back on track. Let alone be happy.  It was not un-common for me to push my limits all day then collapse on the sofa in the evenings un-able to move, or to be wiped out for days or weeks at a time.   
 
But, I am happy, I started to feel like me again. I began to add in the things that I loved to do to my days and could begin to work again. I stopped letting my chronic pain and tiredness control me.  It all started with pacing!

About You

My clients tend to be women with a chronic or long term illness and a lot going on. You likely need help getting your head round a diagnosis, managing your symptoms and the impact on your life, prioritising how to spend your time and finding you again. 
 
If you are like many of the people that come to me you may feel that no-one understand what it is like living with your condition, that you had your life planned out and now you don’t know what the future holds or you may actually feel like you are hanging on by a thread and the smallest thing is going to tip you over.

About the session

Pacing is a technique where we identify your personal triggers and limits, and by planning ahead and prioritising activities, you can do more – with less pain and fatigue.  It is an evidence based approach to increasing activity and fitness while minimising symptom.  It can be applied to any activity from preparing a meal, to meeting up with friends or office work.  
 
If like me, you boom and bust, doing too much and then paying for it later in terms of pain and fatigue, or your symptoms have slowly stopped you doing the things that you love – This deep dive session will help you to get back on track.  Get ready to master pacing once and for all.
