“ To understand how amazing Cristin is, you need to understand my story. In 2017, I had a craniotomy to remove a brain tumor. This changed my life drastically! I barely hung on for another year of work before staying at home for nearly 4 years. This Fall, it was time to reenter the workforce. I was not interested in returning to my former career of school counseling: responsibilities have changed, not to mention Covid. I was attempting to find work in community counseling, but wasn’t hearing yes. I felt disheartened. Going back to work was overwhelming enough. Add in rejection- I was crushed!
