Beyond the Crossroads: Empowering Midlife Women in Times of Transition

The "Beyond the Crossroads" coaching package is crafted for you.

I partner with driven, thoughtful, committed, passionate, and growth-centered women who are often leaders, executives, and/or entrepreneurs in the “messy middle,” striving toward the pinnacle of their careers. You inherently recognize the value of having dedicated support that prioritizes your growth and well-being. You're ready to invest in yourself and are determined to cultivate greater clarity, peace, purpose, and passion.

You are in the "Messy Middle" if you are typically between the ages of 40 and 60 and are likely:

  • Balancing a demanding career while nurturing a healthy marriage or relationship or looking for a new one.
  • Engaged in raising kids or supporting adult children's transition into independence.
  • Committed to various communal or societal responsibilities that hold deep significance for you.
  • Providing support and care for aging parents, navigating the complexities of this role.

You may also  be experiencing:

  • Burnout or overwhelm as you try to balance numerous responsibilities
  • Heightened stress from managing multiple roles and tasks
  • Worry and anxiety amidst uncertain times
  • Resentment at home, work, or both because you lack work/life balance
  • Difficulty establishing healthy boundaries and managing your energy
  • A career transition, whether re-entering the workforce after caregiving, changing careers, or seeking advancement opportunities
  • Issues with self-confidence and self-esteem, especially regarding societal expectations or changes in physical appearance due to aging
  • Conflict at work, with spouses, partners, or family members, and need better communication skills.
  • A desire for personal or spiritual growth and reassessing your goals, values, and priorities for the next 10-20 years before retirement
  • “Empty Nest Syndrome” as your children leave home, prompting a period of adjustment and self-reflection.

How does coaching with Jory work?

Our work together will be profound, thought-provoking, and intense.

  • We will meet once a week for 12 weeks via Zoom.
  • You will have unlimited access to me, where I inquire, support, and challenge you in “real-time” through WhatsApp or another secure platform.
  • Everything is 100% confidential, and I commit to showing up for you as fully as possible. I always intend to respect, give my complete attention, and hold you in the highest possible regard. You are in the lead, but you can count on me to profoundly challenge you!
  • You will receive evidence-based, customized assignments, worksheets, and practices to complete between sessions
  • You will be invited to practice mind-body practices that support emotional well-being, productivity, and peak performance
  • Various assessments such as the Values in Action (VIA) Characters Strength Survey, the Positive Intelligence Sabotueur Assessment

The Sessions

  •  The first session is designed to get to know you as quickly as possible and begin supporting you immediately in defining and articulating your vision for your personal and professional life.
  • Each call is an opportunity to peel back the layers. We will  move back and forth between your overarching goal (which may change, and that’s okay!) and the day-to-day of your life. I trust in your wholeness and will follow your lead, but I will challenge you and bring everything I know about you into each coaching session.
  • Many clients appreciate beginning each session with a brief centering or meditation; others like to jump right into it.
  • The topic may already be established since we will be closely in touch between sessions.
  • I will ask you questions, make observations and interpretations, and challenge you to go deeper to get real clarity and move into action.
  • We may use assessments or other exercises in session
  • You will design how you want to be accountable.

“ I had the privilege of working with Jory as I was navigating a career transition. It is safe to say that there is no way I would have managed through the transition as effectively as I did without her and her exceptional coaching! Jory always asked extremely thoughtful questions, challenging me to think outside of the box in terms of how I was approaching the transition. She was willing to role play various scenarios with me so I felt confident going into meetings with leadership and felt prepared for the variety of questions that inevitably ended up coming my way. While Jory is a fantastic coach, more importantly, she is one of the kindest and most genuine people I have ever met. She cares deeply about her clients, and even when she is challenging you, you know she is coming from a place of care and a desire to see you reach your full potential personally and professionally. I will be forever grateful for my time with Jory, and I can genuinely say I am a better person because of her! I would highly recommend her as a coach, particularly if you are navigating a period of transition! ”
