Team workshops are interactive sessions designed to enhance collaboration, improve skills, and align goals within a group. These workshops are crucial for fostering a positive team environment and can be tailored to meet the specific needs of any organization or group. Below are descriptions of various types of team workshops along with some examples:

1. Team Building Workshops
These workshops focus on strengthening the bonds among team members, enhancing communication, and building trust. Activities are designed to break down barriers in the workplace and promote a more cohesive unit.
  • Example: A problem-solving workshop where teams navigate through a series of physical and mental challenges, encouraging members to rely on each other’s strengths and work collaboratively.

2. Leadership Development Workshops
These sessions are aimed at developing leadership skills within team members, helping them to take initiative, make decisions, and inspire others effectively.
  • Example: Role-playing scenarios where team members take turns leading a group through various tasks, receiving feedback on their leadership style and effectiveness from both peers and facilitators.

3. Communication Workshops
Focused on enhancing interpersonal communication skills within the team, these workshops address issues such as conflict resolution, effective listening, and clear messaging.
  • Example: Activities that require team members to communicate complex ideas using non-verbal methods, fostering clarity in communication and highlighting the importance of body language and tone.

4. Strategic Planning Workshops
These workshops help teams to align on goals, set objectives, and develop actionable plans to achieve them. They are particularly useful for project kick-offs or annual planning.
  • Example: Facilitated sessions where teams map out their project timeline, identify key milestones, assign responsibilities, and anticipate potential challenges.

5. Creative Thinking and Innovation Workshops
Designed to unlock the creative potential of team members, these workshops encourage thinking outside the box and foster an innovative mindset.
  • Example: Using techniques like brainstorming, mind mapping, or the SCAMPER method to generate new ideas for products, services, or internal processes.

6. Cultural Competence Workshops
These sessions aim to enhance understanding and appreciation of diverse backgrounds and perspectives within the team, crucial for global and culturally diverse teams.
  • Example: Interactive discussions and role-plays that explore different cultural norms and how they influence workplace interactions and expectations.

7. Customer Service Excellence Workshops
Focused on teams that interact with customers, these workshops aim to improve customer engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty.
  • Example: Scenario-based training that involves handling difficult customer interactions, understanding customer needs, and improving service delivery.

Each of these workshops can be adapted to virtual, in-person, or hybrid formats depending on the team's location and availability. They are often facilitated by experts who can provide a structured environment conducive to learning and growth.

Frequently Asked Questions

What if I have questions that you don't answer here?
I love a good question! If I haven't covered what’s on your mind, please don’t hesitate to reach out. You can email me directly at mark@level60project.com I'm human, friendly, and I usually get back to you within 4 hours.
What is coaching? Is it the same as counseling, therapy or consulting?
Great question! While they might look similar from the outside, the goals are different. Therapy/Counseling focuses on healing and the past. Coaching focuses on growth and the future. Unlike a mentor or consultant, a coach isn't there to advise you, give you the 'right' answers, or tell you what to do. Instead, coaching is a creative partnership that challenges you to think differently, helping you uncover your own insights and take productive action.
What should I expect during our sessions?
Expect a focused, high-level dialogue designed to move you from uncertainty to activity.  Our sessions are structured to be both strategic and foundational.
In any given session, we typically cover three distinct areas:
  • The Audit: We review your progress since our last meeting, identify what's working and what's in the way
  • The Deep Dive: We tackle a specific pillar of your transition
  • The Briefing: We conclude with clear, actionable 'intelligence' for you to implement.
Expect to be challenged, supported, and—most importantly—secured. You’ll leave each session with an achievable action plan, and with the clarity and confidence to progress toward your objectives.
How often will we meet?
To maintain momentum while allowing space for your 'inner work' to take root, we typically meet every two weeks. This rhythm is intentional: it’s close enough to keep your progress top-of-mind, yet provides space for you to complete strategic exercises and gain 'in the field' experience. I recognize that your life includes other commitments. We will always coordinate our schedule to respect your pace and your priorities.
How and where do our sessions take place?
To respect your time and provide the most flexibility, sessions are conducted via video with Google Meet. This allows us to share screens and maintain a face-to-face connection regardless of where you're located.
How should I prepare for our sessions?
To get the most out of our time together, I recommend a few simple preparations:
  • The Environment: Choose a private, quiet setting where you can speak freely and listen without interruption. This is your space to be candid and focused.
  • The Log: Have a dedicated notebook or journal handy. Capturing insights and action items in real-time is essential.
  • The Tech: You'll need a reliable internet connection and a device capable of video conferencing (camera, microphone, and speakers).
  • The Entry: When you schedule a session, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a secure meeting link. Simply click that link at our scheduled time to enter our virtual meeting room.
Beyond logistics, the best preparation is an open mind and a readiness to engage with the 'inner work' of your transition.
Are our conversations confidential?
Absolutely. Confidentiality is the cornerstone of the trust required for this work. As your guide, I hold our sessions in the strictest confidence, creating a 'secure room' where you can be entirely candid.
What this means:
  • Privacy of Insights: Anything shared within our sessions—from personal reflections to strategic life plans—stays between us.
  • Data Security: Any notes, assessments, or documents we create are stored securely and are never shared with third parties.
  • Peer Integrity: I treat our relationship with the same level of professional discretion you would expect from a legal or financial advisor.
The only exceptions are those legally mandated (such as the intent to harm oneself or others), but beyond those rare boundaries, your journey is your own, and our conversations are protected.
Can my spouse or partner join me in the same coaching session?
To ensure the integrity of your individual growth, all sessions are conducted one-on-one. While it might seem efficient to meet together, sessions are designed to be a private experience where you can explore your own identity and mission without external influence—even from those you love most.
The value of separate paths:
  • Total Candor: A private session allows you to be completely honest with yourself and your guide, exploring possibilities that you might hesitate to voice in front of a partner.
  • Independent Clarity: For your partnership to be strong, each individual must first be secured in their own mission.
  • The Shared Debrief: By doing the work separately, you bring fresh, fully-formed insights back to your relationship. I highly recommend a weekly 'debriefing' together at home to align your individual discoveries.
If your partner is also ready to embark on this journey, I offer a significant enrollment discount to help you move forward together, yet independently.
What is the investment for the Hero's Journey coaching program?
The "Hero’s Journey" is a comprehensive, four-stage transformation. To ensure the investment aligns with your pace of growth, the program is managed one stage at a time.
  • Individual Stage Investment: Each of the four stages is $797.
  • Total Journey Investment: The complete four-stage program is $3,188.
What’s included: Every stage includes four intensive 1:1 sessions, strategic check-in calls, email access, and curated assessments and resources.
Payment Options: I believe the focus should remain on your progress, not the transaction. To support this, monthly payment plans are available for each stage. We move forward when you are ready, and the investment is structured to reflect that commitment to your mastery.
What if I want to focus on a specific topic or a one-time challenge?
While the Hero’s Journey provides the comprehensive map, I recognize that sometimes you face a 'bridge' you need to cross right now. Whether it’s a career transition, a timely project, or a complex family situation, we can narrow our focus to meet that immediate need.
We can handle this in two ways:
  • The Precision Strategy: We dedicate four sessions to that specific topic. The Hero’s Journey framework is adaptive; it’s designed to provide the structure while we focus the lens on your most pressing objective.
  • The Strategic Momentum: If you feel your concern area would benefit from a 'deeper dive,' this package provides six high-impact sessions designed to audit that single issue, identify your hurdles, and secure your next move.
Is there a time limit for completing my coaching sessions?
Momentum is essential. While we'll move at the speed of your growth, I recommend completing each stage and/or package within a three-to-four-month window.
Why a timeline matters:
  • Retention: The insights we uncover in Session One are the fuel for Session Four. If too much time passes, we spend our valuable session time 're-securing' old ground rather than breaking new territory.
  • Commitment to the Process: Transition is most effective when it's a primary focus, not a background task.
  • Flexibility: Of course, life happens. If an unexpected event or a significant commitment requires you to hit 'pause,' we will adjust the schedule.
My goal is to keep your journey active and your results tangible. We're not just checking boxes; we're building a foundation, and that requires a steady rhythm.
