How it Works
- During your first session, you'll enjoy a 50-minute chat with RE:BOOKS publisher Rebecca Eckler. This initial call is incredibly useful, especially for those unfamiliar with the publishing world or its jargon. Rebecca will listen to your idea, guide you through the publishing process, introduce you to various departments and steps involved, explain our book acquisition process and modern business model, and answer any other questions you may have. No question is a silly one. Plus, after writing ten books, she understands the mind of authors! She's heard them all!
- The next step in this package is the completion of a professional editorial report by RE:BOOKS Acquiring Editor Chloe Robinson. Chloe, who has worked closely with RE:BOOKS authors throughout the editorial process, will provide detailed feedback on key components such as structure, style, dialogue, pacing, and setting. Her report will include a concise and marketable synopsis to appeal to both readers and agents, title ideas, and suggestions for improvement, helping you refine your manuscript to its full potential. Additionally, Chloe will offer guidance on navigating the publishing landscape to effectively reach your target audience and explain any questions you have about the editorial process in further detail.
- Our final step in this package is a 50 minute follow-up call with Chloe to discuss your feedback and recommended next steps, including coaching, editorial services, and more.
