Shelbi McFarland "Coach Shelbi" – Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided on or after January 1, 2026.

Shelbi McFarland "Coach Shelbi" services are provided by Shelbi McFarland (“Founder,” “Coach”). By booking, purchasing, or participating in services, you (“Client” or “Parent/Guardian”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions.


1. Nature of Services
Coach Shelbi provides coaching, mentoring, and educational support focused on personal growth, skill-building, communication, confidence, leadership, executive functioning, and personal development.
Services are not therapy, not counseling, not medical or mental health treatment, and not Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. Coach Shelbi does not diagnose, treat, or provide clinical or therapeutic interventions.

2. Client Responsibility
Clients (and parents/guardians, when applicable) acknowledge that:
  • Coaching is collaborative and educational in nature
  • Outcomes depend on participation, effort, and engagement
  • Results are not guaranteed

Parents/guardians remain fully responsible for their child’s medical, mental health, emotional, and educational decisions.

3. Not a Substitute for Professional Care
Coaching services are not a substitute for therapy, counseling, medical care, or other licensed professional services.
If a client or minor participant requires clinical support or is experiencing a mental health crisis, appropriate licensed professionals or emergency services should be contacted.

4. Scheduling & Attendance
  • Sessions are scheduled through Paperbell
  • Clients are responsible for attending sessions on time
  • Late arrivals may result in shortened sessions without refund

Shelbi McFarland "Coach Shelbi" reserves the right to pause, reschedule, or end a session if safety, respect, or boundaries are compromised.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
  • Cancellations or rescheduling must be made at least 24 hours in advance
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may be charged the full session fee
  • Emergencies are handled with discretion and compassion

6. Payment & Fees
  • Payment is required in advance through Paperbell
  • Prices are displayed clearly at the time of booking
  • Fees are non-refundable once services are rendered

 Shelbi McFarland "Coach Shelbi" reserves the right to modify pricing with notice.

7. Boundaries & Conduct Shelbi McFarland "Coach Shelbi" maintains professional, respectful boundaries at all times.
Harassment, inappropriate behavior, or repeated boundary violations by clients or guardians may result in termination of services without refund.

8. Limitation of Liability To the fullest extent permitted by law:
  • Shelbi McFarland "Coach Shelbi" is not liable for any direct or indirect outcomes arising from participation in coaching services
  • Clients assume full responsibility for their choices, actions, and results

9. Confidentiality Shelbi McFarland "Coach Shelbi" respects client privacy. Information shared during coaching is treated with discretion, except when:
  • Disclosure is required by law
  • There is concern for safety or harm
For minors, parents/guardians acknowledge appropriate transparency when necessary for safety and wellbeing.

10. Termination of Services Either party may discontinue services at any time. Shelbi McFarland "Coach Shelbi" reserves the right to terminate services if:
  • Coaching is no longer appropriate
  • Boundaries are not respected
  • Services fall outside the scope of coaching

11. Governing Law These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of California.

12. Acceptance of Terms
By booking services through Paperbell, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Additional Terms for Services Involving Minors
For services involving participants under the age of 18 (“Minor”):

  • A parent or legal guardian must book services and agree to these Terms & Conditions on the Minor’s behalf
  • Coach Shelbi provides coaching and educational support only and does not provide therapy, counseling, medical, or clinical services to minors
  • The parent or legal guardian remains fully responsible for the Minor’s physical, emotional, mental health, and educational needs
  • Coach Shelbi reserves the right to pause or discontinue services if participation is no longer appropriate, safe, or aligned with the scope of coaching
  • By booking services, the parent or legal guardian consents to the Minor’s participation and agrees to all Terms & Conditions herein.
