These Terms & Conditions apply to the purchase, scheduling, and use of coaching services provided by Jennifer Thompson through REFINE Coaching & Consulting.

By purchasing a coaching package or booking a session, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the applicable package terms. Before receiving coaching services, Clients are also required to review and accept the Private Coaching Services Agreement & Informed Consent.

Packages and Payment

The price, number of sessions, payment schedule, package duration, expiration terms, included services, and other package-specific details are disclosed at or before the time of purchase.

Payment is required according to the payment schedule selected at purchase.

Where a payment plan is offered, it changes only the timing of payments and does not change the services included in the package or any other package terms.

Failure to make a required payment may result in suspension of services until payment is received.

Sessions are scheduled for a designated period of time reserved for the Client.

Clients are responsible for scheduling and using their sessions within the timeframe applicable to the package purchased.

Clients who arrive late may receive only the remaining scheduled session time.

If a Client has not arrived within 10 minutes of the scheduled appointment time and has not contacted the Practitioner, the appointment may be considered a missed session and forfeited.

A session may end before the scheduled time at the Client’s request or where the Client and Practitioner agree that the work intended for the session is complete.

Ending a session early does not create a credit for unused time, extend a future session, or entitle the Client to a partial refund.

Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice when cancelling or rescheduling a session.

Sessions cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours’ notice may be considered used and deducted from the Client’s coaching package.

Reasonable exceptions may be made in cases of illness, emergency, or exceptional circumstances at the Practitioner’s discretion.

Repeated cancellations, missed sessions, or excessive rescheduling may result in restrictions on future scheduling or termination of the coaching relationship.

If the Practitioner cancels or reschedules a session, the session will not be forfeited and will be rescheduled within a reasonable timeframe.

Each coaching package is subject to the duration, scheduling requirements, and expiration terms disclosed at or before the time of purchase.

Clients are responsible for using their sessions within the applicable package period.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law or agreed to in writing, unused sessions remaining after the applicable expiration date will expire and will not be eligible for rescheduling, transfer, credit, or refund.

Extensions may be approved in exceptional circumstances at the Practitioner’s discretion, subject to applicable law.

Refund eligibility and package cancellation terms are disclosed at or before the time of purchase and are subject to applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any cancellation, refund, or other consumer rights that cannot legally be waived.

Between-session support may be included in coaching packages as described in the applicable package terms.

Between-session communication does not guarantee immediate responses or continuous availability and is not intended to replace scheduled coaching sessions.

REFINE Coaching & Consulting does not provide 24-hour availability, emergency services, or crisis intervention.

REFINE Coaching & Consulting uses third-party platforms to provide services, including platforms for booking, payment processing, communication, online sessions, and other business operations.

Use of these services may be subject to the applicable provider’s terms and privacy policies.

Personal information is handled in accordance with applicable privacy law and any privacy notices or policies made available by REFINE Coaching & Consulting.

The Private Coaching Services Agreement & Informed Consent governs the coaching relationship, including the nature and scope of services, informed consent, client autonomy and responsibility, confidentiality, potential risks, session recordings, intellectual property, termination of services, limitation of liability, and other terms related to the provision of coaching services.

If there is a conflict between these Terms & Conditions and the Private Coaching Services Agreement & Informed Consent regarding the coaching relationship or provision of coaching services, the Client Agreement will apply.

Package-specific terms apply to the price, payment schedule, included services, scheduling requirements, duration, expiration, cancellation, and refund terms of the applicable package to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.

The version in effect at the time a coaching package is purchased will apply to that purchase unless changes are required by applicable law or otherwise agreed to in writing.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada.
