DuPree Coaching & Consulting - Terms and Conditions

1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions ("Agreement") outline the understanding between DuPree Coaching & Consulting ("Coach") and the Client regarding professional coaching services. By engaging in coaching services, the Client agrees to these terms.
2. Nature of Coaching
- Coaching is a professional partnership focused on developing the Client’s personal and professional potential, business growth, and leadership effectiveness.
- Coaching is not therapy, counseling, consulting, or legal/financial advising.
- The Client is solely responsible for decisions and outcomes resulting from coaching sessions.
3. Services Provided
DuPree Coaching & Consulting offers coaching services including, but not limited to:
- Executive and leadership coaching
- Small business and organizational development coaching
- Strategic growth and performance coaching
- Team or group facilitation sessions
- Workshops, assessments, and planning sessions
- All services are delivered in person, virtually, or through hybrid sessions as agreed upon in writing.
4. Coaching Packages and Fees
- Coaching fees are determined by the selected package (e.g., 3-month, 6-month, or custom program).
- Payment terms and pricing are outlined in each Client’s individual agreement or invoice.
- All fees are non-refundable once services have commenced, except as outlined in Section 8.
- Payment confirms the Client’s commitment to the coaching process.
5. Scheduling and Session Policy
- Sessions are scheduled in advance by mutual agreement.
- Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice.
- Missed or late-canceled sessions (without proper notice) may be forfeited at the Coach’s discretion.
- Sessions typically last 45–60 minutes unless otherwise specified.
6. Confidentiality
- All information shared by the Client during coaching is strictly confidential.
- The Coach will not disclose any personal, professional, or business information without the Client’s written consent, except where required by law (e.g., risk of harm or court order).
- DuPree Coaching & Consulting may use anonymized, non-identifying examples for educational or marketing purposes only with consent.
7. Responsibilities
Coach Responsibilities:
- Provide professional, ethical, and results-oriented coaching support.
- Maintain confidentiality and create a safe, judgment-free space for the Client.
- Be on time, prepared, and fully engaged in every session.
Client Responsibilities:
- Commit to personal and professional growth through open participation.
- Complete agreed-upon actions between sessions.
- Communicate honestly and provide feedback during the process.
8. Cancellation and Refund Policy
- Clients may cancel their coaching agreement within 7 days of initial payment for a full refund if no session has occurred.
- After services have begun, fees are non-refundable.
- In the rare event that the Coach must cancel the engagement, unused sessions will be refunded.
9. Results Disclaimer
Coaching is a collaborative process. While many clients experience measurable improvement, results are not guaranteed. The Client accepts full responsibility for implementing insights, strategies, and actions discussed during sessions.
10. Limitation of Liability
DuPree Coaching & Consulting and its representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from coaching services. The Client agrees that any claim shall be limited to the amount paid for coaching services.
11. Intellectual Property
All materials, tools, templates, and methods used by DuPree Coaching & Consulting remain the intellectual property of the company and may not be reproduced or distributed without written permission.
12. Code of Ethics
DuPree Coaching & Consulting upholds the International Coaching Federation (ICF) standards for professional conduct, integrity, and confidentiality in all client engagements.
13. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Texas, and any disputes will be handled in Denton County, Texas, or an agreed-upon mediation setting.
14. Agreement and Acceptance
By engaging in coaching services, submitting payment, or attending the first session, the Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
