Welcome to Luma Wellness LLC ("Luma Wellness," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, services, and coaching programs. By accessing our website, booking services, or participating in any program, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Nature of Services (Coaching, Not Therapy)
Luma Wellness provides non‑clinical coaching, education, and skills‑based wellness services. Our services may include executive functioning coaching, stress management, performance coaching, wellness education, and personal development support.
Important:
  • Coaching is not psychotherapy, counseling, medical care, or mental health treatment.
  • Coaching does not diagnose, treat, or prevent mental health or medical conditions.
  • Coaching is not a substitute for therapy, psychiatric care, or medical treatment.
  • No therapeutic or clinical relationship is created by participation in our services.
Although some staff may hold professional licenses or have clinical backgrounds, all services provided through Luma Wellness are strictly coaching and educational in nature.

2. No Emergency or Crisis Services
Luma Wellness does not provide emergency, crisis, or on‑call services.
If you or your child are experiencing:
  • Suicidal thoughts
  • Risk of harm to self or others
  • Severe emotional distress
  • A mental health crisis
Please contact emergency services (911 in the U.S.), go to the nearest emergency room, or contact the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline by dialing 988.

3. Eligibility for Services
Adults
You must be at least 18 years old to participate in adult coaching services.
Minors
For services involving minors:
  • A parent or legal guardian must provide informed consent.
  • Coaching focuses on skill‑building, habits, and development—not therapy.
  • Parents/guardians remain responsible for monitoring the child’s emotional and behavioral well‑being.

4. Client Responsibilities
By participating in coaching, you agree to:
  • Provide accurate and complete information
  • Actively participate in sessions and activities
  • Understand that results depend on personal effort and follow‑through
  • Communicate respectfully with staff and clients (as applicable)
You acknowledge that coaching outcomes are not guaranteed.

5. Scheduling, Cancellations, and No‑Shows
  • Sessions must be scheduled through our approved booking platform (e.g., Paperbell).
  • Cancellation or rescheduling requires at least 24 hours’ notice, unless otherwise stated.
  • Missed sessions or late cancellations may be forfeited without refund.
  • Luma Wellness reserves the right to reschedule sessions due to illness, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances.

6. Fees, Payments, and Refunds
  • All fees must be paid in advance unless otherwise specified.
  • Coaching packages, subscriptions, and programs are non‑refundable, except where required by law.
  • No insurance billing, superbills, or reimbursement assistance is provided.
  • Prices and services are subject to change with reasonable notice.

7. Confidentiality and Privacy
We respect your privacy and make reasonable efforts to protect personal information. However, please understand:
  • Coaching is not a HIPAA‑covered service.
  • Communications are not considered medical or mental health records.
  • Confidentiality may be limited in cases involving safety concerns, suspected abuse, or legal requirements.

8. Communication Boundaries
  • Coaching communication occurs through approved platforms (email, scheduling software, or messaging tools).
  • We do not guarantee immediate responses outside scheduled sessions.
  • Coaching does not include ongoing crisis support between sessions.

9. Intellectual Property
All content provided by Luma Wellness—including worksheets, programs, materials, branding, and website content—is the intellectual property of Luma Wellness LLC.
You may not:
  • Reproduce, distribute, or sell materials without written permission
  • Use content for commercial purposes

10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
  • Luma Wellness is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from coaching services.
  • You assume full responsibility for decisions, actions, and outcomes resulting from coaching.

11. No Guarantees or Warranties
Coaching services are provided on an "as‑is" and "as‑available" basis. We make no guarantees regarding outcomes, results, or success.

12. Termination of Services
Luma Wellness reserves the right to suspend or terminate services if:
  • These Terms are violated
  • Payment obligations are unmet
  • Behavior is inappropriate, unsafe, or disruptive
Clients may discontinue services at any time, subject to payment terms.

13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict‑of‑law principles.

14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of revised Terms.
