Terms and Conditions

By purchasing or participating in a coaching session or related service offered by Jonathan Hargus, The Hive Doctor (the “Service”), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.


1. Nature of the Service

The coaching services provided are educational and consultative in nature and are focused on:

  • Decision-making
  • Perspective
  • Strategic thinking
  • Clarifying direction
The Service does not provide hive inspections, treatments, prescriptions, veterinary advice, or guaranteed outcomes.

All coaching sessions are designed to help clients think more clearly about their beekeeping decisions, not to tell them what actions to take.


2. No Diagnosis or Guarantees

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • No diagnosis of hive conditions will be provided
  • No treatment instructions will be given
  • No outcome is guaranteed
  • Colony loss, setbacks, or challenges may still occur
Beekeeping involves inherent risk, uncertainty, and biological variability. The Service does not ensure colony survival, honey production, or financial success.



3. Client Responsibility

You understand that:

  • All decisions and actions taken after a coaching session are your sole responsibility
  • You are responsible for implementing or disregarding any insights gained
  • You retain full ownership of your beekeeping practices and outcomes
The Service supports how you think, not what you do.


4. Session Structure and Delivery

Unless otherwise stated:

  • Coaching sessions are single, complete sessions
  • Sessions are delivered via [video call / phone / platform you use]
  • A follow-up decision-making guide or summary may be delivered within 48 hours, but this is informational only
No ongoing coaching relationship is implied unless explicitly agreed upon in writing.


5. Payment and Refunds

  • Payment is required in full before the session
  • All sales are final
  • No refunds are provided for completed sessions
If you are unable to attend a scheduled session, rescheduling may be offered at the sole discretion of the Service provider.


6. Intellectual Property

All materials, frameworks, language, and concepts shared during or after coaching sessions remain the intellectual property of The Hive Doctor.

You may use them for personal education but may not reproduce, sell, distribute, or teach them without written permission.


7. Confidentiality

Personal information shared during coaching sessions will be treated with respect and confidentiality, except where disclosure is required by law.

No session recordings or notes will be shared publicly without your consent.


8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Service provider is not liable for losses, damages, or outcomes related to your beekeeping activities
  • Liability is limited to the amount paid for the Service
You agree to hold harmless The Hive Doctor from any claims arising from your decisions or actions.


9. Changes to Terms

These Terms and Conditions may be updated at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the current version.
