This is an executive-presence working session built on twelve years of stage craft — not a checklist about posture and a firmer handshake. Improv trains people to respond. This trains them to hold: attention, silence, the pause before the point.
We work on our feet. Open floor, no lectern, chairs out of the way. Your directors practice entering a room and taking it, holding a beat under pressure, and reading what a room is actually doing instead of finding out in the debrief that they lost it in minute two.
How it stays live, not scripted
I run the room the way I'd run a sprint, not the way most facilitators run a workshop. Every exercise doubles as a check-in — I'm reading what's landing, what isn't, who's leaning in and who's checked out — and I adjust the next segment off what the room's actually giving me back, not off a fixed deck I plow through regardless. Same instinct I'd bring to a retro: watch the signal, change course, don't wait for the postmortem to find out it didn't land.
