Pinnacle Coaching Services’ flagship Professional Development Coaching Container Package is specifically designed to empower the client’s leadership capabilities by enabling them to assess issues by leveraging a holistic approach and a strategic lens, which takes into account the Executive Core Qualifications (ECQs) of Leading Change, Leading People, Driving Results, Achieving Organizational Success, and Building Coalitions.  Such ECQs, coupled with one’s dynamic interpersonal skills, are hallmarks of senior executives within the public and private sectors.  

Oftentimes, clients have several goals in mind as it relates to one's professional development.  Whether it is developing time management strategies, exploring how to address and mitigate conflict, or leverage political savviness in an often-adversarial climate, coaching sessions can help the client explore such matters, examine them from a strategic perspective, and help surgically implement courses of action to either remedy or mitigate an issue’s recurrence. 

Ultimately, as the client, you are the navigator of your journey with the understanding that the original path towards your destination may deviate during our sessions.  You may reexamine your goals on our trek together where priorities of goals may change or new ones are discovered altogether based upon the progress made. 

What You'll Come Away With

At the end of each session, we will have explored a particular topic or goal you previously identified, examined the reality of your current situation, assessed the options in support of a way forward, and commit to the actions required to lead change in accomplishing your endeavors.

Beyond having an outlined and specific course of action to work on in between sessions, I’ll serve as your accountability partner in an effort to help ensure your steadfast success as you continue to grow in our sessions.  Our sessions may also reveal various professional development opportunities you could explore inside and outside of work that will bolster your knowledge, skills, and abilities, which in turn, will empower your candidacy from a whole-person perspective.  

What to Expect

As the client, you are in charge of identifying the agenda for each session, which is tailored and aligned with the professional development goals you identified in your pre-coaching questionnaire that you will receive upon registration.  If needed, you can fine-tune and adjust your original goals as you continue to gain perspective and enhanced clarity during our sessions together especially as your original assessments may shift given personal revelations discovered during the coaching process. 

In particular during our sessions, we'll identify key obstacles and opportunities, then develop practical solutions you can implement immediately.  You'll leave each session feeling energized and equipped with everything you need to take meaningful action where you will share your inroads at our next session. 

How to Prepare

Making the most of our time together starts with preparation.  You will receive specifically tailored exercises to complete and reflect upon in between our sessions, which will make our sessions more beneficial as we explore the nuances related to self-awareness, triggers, and strategic planning.  We'll explore how our interactions with others may create second and third order effects that we must strategically and diplomatically navigate in our daily work.  In light of this, it is paramount to keep an open mind as we continue in the coaching journey together.  As we create a roadmap that will allow you to circumnavigate such dynamics, we’ll craft a way forward together to chart your path towards success.

How will our coaching sessions be structured?
Our first session will consist of introductions. We’ll discuss roles, responsibilities, and expectations during our coaching engagements. We’ll also identify goals and develop a plan of action for you to achieve these goals. Throughout our continuing sessions, we’ll explore any challenges you are facing, identify and examine opportunities, implement practices, and enable accountability as we constantly evaluate progress together. At our final session, we’ll assess our engagement during the coaching process, reflect upon the growth you’ve made, and identify future goals as your journey continues.
Are our coaching sessions confidential?
As a credentialed coach and member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF), our coaching sessions will remain confidential in accordance with the ICF Code of Ethics. As your professional coach, I have an ethical duty and responsibility to not disclose any information obtained during the course of our coaching relationship without your expressed permission as the right to confidentiality belongs to you as the client.
Why does the coaching market have significant variations in costs for coaching services?
Coaches have the ability to set their own costs for the services they provide. With this said, it is encouraged that individuals and organizations who are interested in receiving coaching services conduct their due diligence to assess whether one's coaching fees are reasonable for the services rendered in the current market. In order to become more informed as a consumer, I recommend exploring the answers to the following questions below, which I have personally used as a guide when I seek coaching services. Ultimately, coaching is truly an investment in one’s continued professional development where one should assess the fair market value, quality, and cost of the services being offered.

1) Can a coach’s claimed professional qualifications and accomplishments be verified?

2) Is the coach a member of the International Coaching Federation or a similar coaching organization?

3) Does the coach possess any credentials or certifications associated with the coaching profession?

4) Can such credentials or certifications be independently verified?

5) Does the coach seek continuing training and education in order to bolster their coaching capabilities?

6) Does the amount of coaching experience a coach has accumulated, coupled with their training, credentials, and certifications, personally justify to you the amount that is being charged for services?

How does the coaching partnership work?
Coaching draws out the intelligence and wisdom of the client rather than taking on a role of advising or being an expert consultant. Likewise, therapeutic or counseling approaches are distinct and different from coaching’s methodology. However, coaching can address personal issues (if you want to) or life conditions that have an impact on professional effectiveness.
