You Know Something Needs to Change. Let’s Talk About What Support Could Look Like.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before considering coaching. Sometimes you simply need an honest conversation about where you are, what keeps showing up, and where you’d like to go from here.

Maybe You’ve Reached a Point Where You Can’t Keep Ignoring What’s Showing Up.

You may be noticing patterns in your relationships, questioning who you’ve become, navigating a major life transition, or realizing that the ways you’ve learned to survive are no longer helping you create the life you want.

Maybe you know you need support, but you’re still trying to understand what that support should look like.

That’s what this consultation is for.

This is a brief conversation designed to help us explore what you’re currently navigating and determine whether my coaching approach aligns with the kind of support you’re looking for.

You don’t need to prepare a perfect explanation of your life.

Come as you are. We’ll start with where you are.

What is a Coaching Consultation?

A coaching consultation is a brief, intentional conversation that allows us to connect before beginning a coaching relationship.

This is not a coaching session or space for deep emotional processing. Instead, we’ll briefly discuss what you’re currently navigating, what you’d like support with, and what you hope could be different in your life moving forward.

I’ll also share more about my coaching approach and answer questions you may have about working together.

The goal is simple: to determine whether we’re a good fit for the work you want to do.

There is no pressure to make an immediate commitment.

During Our Conversation, We’ll…

• Talk briefly about what you’re currently navigating.
• Discuss what you’d like support with or experience differently.
• Explore the goals or areas of growth that feel most important right now.
• Talk about my coaching approach and what working together may look like.
• Determine whether individual coaching with me aligns with your current needs.

This conversation is centered on fit and clarity—not pressure.

By the End of the Consultation, You’ll Know…

• Whether my coaching approach feels aligned with what you’re looking for.
• Which of my individual coaching options may best support your goals.
• What beginning a coaching relationship with me could look like.
• Whether you’re ready to take the next step.

And if I don’t believe I’m the right coach for what you need, I’ll be honest about that too.

Before You Schedule…

This consultation is not a coaching session and does not include deep processing, trauma work, or individualized coaching strategies.

Because our time together is brief, the purpose of this conversation is to learn more about what you’re looking for, answer questions about my coaching approach, and determine whether working together is the appropriate next step.

You don’t need to tell me your entire life story in 15 minutes.

We’ll start with what feels most important for me to understand about where you are right now.

Maybe You’re Ready to Stop Trying to Figure It All Out Alone.

Considering coaching doesn’t mean you have failed, fallen apart, or reached some dramatic breaking point.

Sometimes you’ve simply become aware that the way you’ve been navigating life is no longer working for the woman you’re becoming.

If you’re ready to explore what intentional coaching support could look like for you, I invite you to schedule a consultation.

Let’s talk about where you are and determine whether I’m the right coach to walk with you from here.

ABOUT COACH CARLA

I’m Carla R. Cannon-Lawrence, affectionately known as Coach Carla, a Certified Trauma Recovery & Identity Reconstruction Coach, author, psychology student, and host of Healing Conversations with Carla.

For more than 14 years, I’ve worked with women navigating healing, identity, relationships, life transitions, and the complicated process of reconnecting with themselves after years of surviving, adapting, and becoming who they needed to be for everyone else.

My coaching approach blends lived experience, psychology-informed education, intentional reflection, and practical tools to help women recognize patterns, rebuild self-trust, and become more honest about who they are and what they need.

I don’t coach from a pedestal, and I’m not here to convince you that I have all the answers to your life.

My role is to ask deeper questions, help you recognize what’s showing up, and support you as you make intentional decisions about what comes next.
