Who This is For

This session is for professionals who are ready to move past general self-awareness and into specific, evidence-based insight about how their behavioral style is showing up at work. You've probably already done some version of self-reflection. This is different because it starts with data rather than impressions.

It's the right fit if you're in one of these situations:

  • You've received consistent feedback about a behavioral pattern and want to understand the root of it, not just manage the symptoms
  • You're in a leadership role and want a clear, honest picture of how your style affects the people around you
  • You've taken a personality or behavioral assessment before, but never had someone help you interpret it in context
  • You're about to navigate a significant professional transition (promotion, new team, new scope ) and want to go in with a behavioral map
  • You want a high-value, low-commitment entry point into coaching before deciding whether a longer engagement makes sense

What You'll Come Away With

Your session includes the Behavioral Excellence Profile™, a 6-page DISC report that maps your behavioral tendencies, communication style, motivators, and stress responses. Most people have seen reports. Most have never had a PhD-level I/O psychologist walk them through one.

By the end of the session, you'll have:

  • A clear understanding of your primary DISC style and what it means specifically for how you lead, communicate, and make decisions
  • An honest identification of two or three behavioral patterns that are most likely limiting your effectiveness right now
  • A concrete development priority; one specific thing to work on with a clear rationale for why it matters most
  • Language for your own behavior that makes it easier to explain to your team, your manager, or yourself
You'll leave with your report, session notes, and a prioritized next step. Not a vague takeaway. A specific one.

What to Expect

Before the session, you'll complete your Behavioral Excellence Profile™ assessment online...it takes about 10 minutes. I'll review your report in advance so we can spend the full hour on interpretation and application rather than reading the document together in the room.

The session itself runs 60 minutes on Zoom. The first third is a deep dive into your report, not a recitation of what the pages say, but a translation of what the data mean for your specific situation. The middle third is applied: we connect your behavioral profile to the actual challenges you're navigating right now. The final third is forward-looking: we identify your highest-leverage development priority and map a concrete next step.

You should expect direct questions, honest observations, and a conversation that moves. I'm not going to spend the session validating everything you already believe about yourself. The value is in what the data surfaces that you haven't fully seen yet.

How to Prepare

The session is only 60 minutes, so the more you bring into the room, the more you'll leave with. Here's how to make the most of it.

Complete your intake form & assessment honestly — not aspirationally. The Behavioral Excellence Profile™ measures your natural behavioral tendencies, not who you're trying to become. Answer based on how you actually show up at work, especially under pressure, not how you'd like to show up on your best day. A coached or idealized profile produces a less useful report and a less useful session.

Identify one situation you want to bring up. Before we meet, think of a specific professional situation (a relationship, a recurring pattern, a challenge you haven't been able to crack) where you suspect your behavioral style is a factor. You don't need to have it fully analyzed. You need to have it in mind. The session will work harder when it's anchored to something real.

Read your report before we meet. Your report will be delivered before the session. Read it once...not to form conclusions, but to note what resonates, what surprises you, and what feels off. Bring those reactions. The places where you push back on the data are often the most productive part of the conversation.

Come ready to be honest. This is a coaching session, not a performance review. Nothing you say here leaves the room, and there are no right answers. The value of the session is directly proportional to how directly you engage with the data. Defensiveness is understandable.
