Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Book Angel. Our volunteers are the heart of our mission β helping us serve children, families, seniors, and communities through literacy, education, and resource access.
Whether you are looking to volunteer once, support us seasonally, or grow into a leadership or Ambassador role, we welcome you.
π What It Means to Volunteer With Book Angel
Book Angel volunteers support a wide range of initiatives, including:
- Community book distributions
- Warehouse support, sorting, and inventory
- Holiday resource drives and special events
- Outreach, logistics, and program assistance
- Administrative and behind-the-scenes support
Opportunities vary throughout the year and are shared based on availability, interest, and community need.
π What Happens After You Joing the Group and Complete Your Registration
Once you complete your volunteer information:
- Your information will be securely stored in our volunteer system
- You will be added to our volunteer interest pool
- A member of the Book Angel team will reach out when opportunities align with your availability and interests
- Prior to participating in any activity, you will be invited to complete orientation and required acknowledgments
Submitting this form and being added to the group does not guarantee immediate placement, but it ensures you are ready and eligible when opportunities arise. Once you join the group you will need to (1) complete the intake survey/form (2) review and eSign the contract
π€ Volunteer Roles & Flexibility
We offer multiple ways to serve:
- General Volunteers β One-time or occasional support
- Ambassador Volunteers β Ongoing engagement and community representation
- Leadership Volunteers β Program, committee, or project leadership
Roles are assigned based on interest, experience, availability, and organizational needs.
