You’re not alone! Many women have asked this question. This isn’t about building fancy models or being artistic. LEGO® Serious Play® is a guided process that helps you think with your hands. You’ll use the bricks to represent ideas and experiences, not to build perfect creations. Most people are surprised by how quickly they relax and start having fun.

LEGO® Serious Play® sessions are for individuals or groups who want to slow down, reflect, and gain clarity when words alone aren’t enough. They’re especially helpful during seasons of change, transition, or discernment, and for teams or communities that want to think differently, surface new perspectives, and have more meaningful conversations. No prior experience with LEGO® Serious Play® is needed—just a willingness to engage with curiosity and openness.

The topics below offer a glimpse into the kinds of conversations and reflections that work especially well in a Brick by Brick session. Each experience is guided by the needs of the group. Sessions can be adapted or fully customized to support your specific goals, questions, or season.

Celebrating Your Strengths

In this Brick by Brick session, we’ll focus on celebrating the unique strengths you bring to your family or organization. Through a guided LEGO® Serious Play® activity, you’ll build a model that represents how you support others and reflect on the qualities that make you who you are. As you share and connect with fellow participants, you’ll begin to see your everyday efforts through a lens of appreciation and grace and leave with a deeper sense of confidence, joy, and gratitude for who you already are.

When emotions swirl like a storm, it’s easy to get swept up in the chaos. In this LEGO® Serious Play® session, you’ll reflect on what kinds of storms are hardest for you to weather, discover where you find your calm when the storm hits, and identify what you want to remember the next time emotions start to rise. You’ll leave with a tangible reminder of what it looks like to be the calm in the storm, even when your emotions or others' emotions feel turbulent.

This session is designed to help moms slow down and notice what happens right before words come out. Through a simple, concrete build, we’ll explore why pausing can feel hard, especially under pressure, and what might be happening beneath the surface when words rush forward. This is not about fixing how we speak or saying the right thing, but about growing in awareness with grace. Together, we’ll create space to reflect, reconnect, and practice noticing how small moments of pause can shape the words we choose and the relationships we care about most.

Running a business can feel like juggling a dozen roles at once. It’s easy to focus on what needs to get done and overlook what truly supports your success. In this Brick by Brick session, you’ll step back from the daily grind to explore what’s foundational to your business—both the visible structures that keep it running and the invisible strengths, values, and beliefs that hold it together. Through guided LEGO® Serious Play® activities, you’ll build, reflect, and gain clarity about what’s working well, what needs reinforcement, and what kind of support will help you and your business thrive. You’ll leave with fresh insight, renewed motivation, and one clear action step to strengthen your foundation moving forward.

Transitioning from Student to Professional
Brick by Brick: From Student to Professional is an interactive, hands-on session designed to help college students think beyond technical skills and consider how they want to show up in their first professional role. Through guided building and small group discussion, participants will explore how they respond under pressure, how they contribute to a team, and what kind of professional they are becoming. This session invites students to connect who they are today with the professional they want to be tomorrow, leaving with greater clarity and a practical mindset they can carry into internships, interviews, and their first full-time role.

Reconnecting With Your Why
When the work is meaningful but exhausting, it’s easy to forget why you started. Brick by Brick: Reconnecting With Your Why is a reflective, hands-on workshop designed for people in service-based roles who carry a lot and are rarely applauded for it—teachers, coaches, ministry leaders, entrepreneurs, homeschool moms, and others who pour into others every day. Through guided LEGO® Serious Play®, you’ll slow down, breathe, and rediscover what sustains you when the work feels heavy or unseen. You’ll leave with a tangible reminder of your purpose and a renewed sense of steadiness, anchored in the calling that first led you here.

We meet virtually via Zoom so participants can join from anywhere. 

If you’re in the Oklahoma City metro area and schedule a private event, we can also meet in person.

Individual LEGO® Serious Play® sessions last 75 minutes for the initial session and 60 minutes for future sessions. Brick by Brick groups session lasts about 90 minutes, which gives us plenty of time to build, share, and connect without feeling rushed.

Just yourself and a willingness to play!

Expect laughter, meaningful conversation, and a few “aha” moments. I’ll start by introducing how LEGO® bricks can be used in a new way—to think, reflect, and express ideas. You’ll have a chance to build something in response to a prompt, then share what you created and what it means to you. We might ask gentle, curiosity-driven questions to help you make sense of your thoughts. Whatever you build is perfect; there are no right or wrong answers.

All participants need to be registered at least one week before the event so I have time to mail the LEGO® kits.

Refunds are available until the LEGO® kits are mailed (one week before the event). After that, no refunds can be given, since materials and shipping are already in process, but you’re always welcome to transfer your spot to another participant. If you need to transfer your registration, please contact me with their name and email address so I can send them the event details and ensure they receive all necessary information.
