The Focus Finder™ Signature Transformation

Powered by The ADHD Teen Executive Function System™
12 Weeks | 40 Coaching Sessions | 100% Online | Teens & Parents

More Than Executive Function Coaching. A Transformation for the Whole Family.

Many teens with ADHD know what they need to do. The challenge is getting started, following through, and doing it consistently without someone reminding them.

Meanwhile, parents often find themselves exhausted by the daily cycle of reminding, checking, negotiating, and following up. What begins as an effort to help can gradually become a source of frustration and tension for everyone.

This is where my approach is different.

I don't simply teach executive functioning strategies. I work directly with teens to help them put those strategies into action, take ownership of their responsibilities, and build the independence they need for everyday life.

At the same time, I serve as a bridge between teens and their parents, providing the structure, guidance, and accountability that parents have often been carrying on their own.

This allows parents to gradually step back from being the constant reminders and supervisors, while teens gain the opportunity to take responsibility, build confidence, and experience success on their own terms.

Parents can focus on being parents again. Teens can focus on becoming more independent.

What Makes The Focus Finder™ Different?

1. Three Coaching Sessions Every Week
Rather than relying on a single weekly appointment, students receive one personalized one-on-one session and two live small-group sessions every week.

This structure provides repeated opportunities to learn, practice, take action, and follow through—with support that gradually encourages greater independence.

2. Real-Life Application, Not Just Learning Strategies
Students work on their actual school assignments, schedules, routines, responsibilities, and personal goals.

Coaching focuses on transferring strategies into everyday life, not simply understanding them during sessions.

3. The Focus Finder™ Assessment — Understanding Where We Begin
Meaningful progress begins with understanding each student's individual strengths, challenges, and areas for growth.

At the beginning of the program, students complete the Focus Finder™ Assessment, which helps establish a personalized starting point across important areas of executive functioning and everyday independence.

At the end of the 12 weeks, we revisit the assessment to compare where students began with where they are now.

This before-and-after comparison helps students and parents recognize growth, celebrate achievements, and identify areas that may benefit from continued practice.

The goal is to make progress visible, meaningful, and personal.

4. The Personalized Goal Tracker — Making Progress Visible
Every student works with a Personalized Goal Tracker built around their own priorities, challenges, and goals.

Together, we identify specific areas they want to improve, such as completing schoolwork on time, initiating tasks independently, maintaining organization, or strengthening personal responsibility.

Students regularly reflect on their progress using a simple 1–10 scale, helping them recognize what is improving, identify obstacles, and decide what adjustments are needed.

The tracker emphasizes self-awareness, effort, consistency, and growth rather than perfection.

Students don't just work toward goals. They learn to recognize their progress, evaluate what is working, and take ownership of what comes next.

5. The Parent Living Document — Informed Parents, Less Pressure on Teens
One of the unique features of The Focus Finder™ Signature Transformation is the Parent Living Document, a personalized, continuously updated record that keeps parents informed and involved throughout the 12 weeks.

After coaching sessions, parents can follow their teen's journey through a shared document that includes:

  • Skills and strategies practiced during coaching.
  • Progress, successes, and executive functioning challenges observed.
  • Individual goals, commitments, and next steps.
  • Patterns that may be affecting independence and follow-through.
  • Specific, practical recommendations for supporting their teen at home.

Parents no longer have to rely solely on asking, “What did you work on today?” or “Did you finish what you were supposed to do?”

They can see what their teen is working toward, understand where support is needed, and recognize meaningful progress without becoming the constant reminder or supervisor.

At the same time, teens have more space to develop responsibility and independence without feeling continually questioned or monitored.

The Parent Living Document also creates continuity between individual coaching, group sessions, and parent conversations, ensuring that everyone is working toward the same goals.

Parents stay informed. Teens gain breathing room. Both receive the support they need to move forward together.

6. Direct Student Text Follow-Ups — Accountability Beyond Coaching Sessions
Coaching doesn't end when the session ends.
Throughout the program, I communicate directly with students through text messages to provide reminders, check in on commitments, encourage progress, and help them maintain momentum between sessions.

These follow-ups reinforce the strategies practiced during coaching and help students develop consistency in their everyday responsibilities.

Rather than relying exclusively on parents to remind their teens about assignments, routines, and commitments, students receive additional accountability directly from their coach.

Text communication also provides opportunities to recognize successes, address obstacles, and encourage students to take the next step when they feel stuck.

The goal is not to create dependence on reminders, but to help students gradually develop the skills to initiate and follow through independently.

7. A Bridge Between Parents and Teens
I provide a supportive, neutral source of accountability, helping shift responsibility for planning, initiating, and following through toward the teen.

As teens develop greater ownership, parents can gradually step away from the exhausting cycle of repeated reminders and supervision.

The goal is to reduce tension, strengthen communication, rebuild trust, and create more opportunities for positive parent-teen connection.

Parents can focus on being parents. Teens can focus on becoming more independent.

8. A Path Toward Independence — With Continued Support Available
The program is designed to help students apply strategies increasingly independently.

After completing the Signature Transformation, graduates become eligible for an exclusive, group-only Graduate Accountability Program to maintain momentum and continue strengthening their skills.

Weekly Coaching Structure

Monday — Personalized One-on-One Coaching
50 Minutes | Individually Scheduled

Each student receives a private coaching session tailored to their strengths, challenges, goals, and current responsibilities.

Together, we identify obstacles, develop practical strategies, and work on meaningful tasks and responsibilities.

Students learn to recognize their patterns, make decisions, and take increasing ownership of their actions.

Monday appointments are scheduled individually during the afternoon. Available times are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.

Tuesday — Executive Function Skill Development
7:00–7:50 PM Pacific Time | Live Small Group

Tuesday focuses on learning and practicing executive functioning strategies.
Through short lessons, interactive activities, guided practice, and real-life applications, students strengthen skills they can use immediately.

Students are encouraged to reflect on why each skill matters to them and how it can help them achieve their personal goals.

Wednesday — Accountability, Action & Follow-Through
7:00–7:50 PM Pacific Time | Live Small Group

Wednesday is about turning intentions into action.

Students review their commitments, identify obstacles, and work on meaningful responsibilities while practicing task initiation, execution, and follow-through.

Working alongside peers provides encouragement, connection, and accountability.

The goal is not simply to understand the strategies. It is to use them independently.

Executive Function Skills We Develop

Throughout the program, students strengthen:
  • Organization: Creating and maintaining realistic systems for materials, assignments, and personal spaces.

  • Time Management: Developing awareness of time, estimating how long tasks take, and using schedules effectively.

  • Planning & Prioritization: Identifying what matters most and breaking responsibilities into manageable steps.

  • Task Initiation: Overcoming the difficulty of getting started, even when motivation is low.

  • Execution & Follow-Through: Completing, checking, and submitting work rather than leaving tasks unfinished.

  • Emotional Regulation: Managing frustration, overwhelm, and setbacks more effectively.

  • Self-Monitoring: Recognizing patterns, evaluating progress, and adjusting strategies.

  • Self-Advocacy: Communicating needs, asking for help, and taking responsibility for decisions.

  • Independence: Applying learned strategies with decreasing reliance on reminders and adult supervision.

Students practice these skills through their actual schoolwork, schedules, routines, and everyday responsibilities.

Coaching goes beyond learning strategies. Through repeated practice, reflection, and accountability, students work toward applying what they learn independently—not just during sessions, but in everyday life.

Parent Coaching — Supporting Lasting Change at Home

Executive functioning challenges rarely affect only the teen. They can influence family routines, relationships, communication, school performance, and the overall atmosphere at home.

That is why the Focus Finder™ Signature Transformation includes four dedicated parent coaching sessions.

These sessions provide opportunities to establish shared expectations, review progress, address setbacks, and make adjustments throughout the program.

Parents receive practical guidance on:

  • Supporting independence without micromanaging.
  • Reducing repeated reminders and unnecessary conflict.
  • Establishing clear expectations and healthy boundaries.
  • Responding constructively to setbacks.
  • Recognizing meaningful progress beyond grades.
  • Encouraging ownership, responsibility, and follow-through.

The Parent Living Document provides continuity between these conversations and the student's ongoing coaching experience.

The goal is to keep parents informed and supported while gradually transferring responsibility back to the teen.

Is This Program Right for Your Teen?

The Focus Finder™ Signature Transformation may be a good fit for teens who:

  • Know what needs to be done but struggle to get started.
  • Have difficulty organizing, planning, prioritizing, or managing their time.
  • Frequently leave assignments or responsibilities unfinished.
  • Rely heavily on reminders and follow-ups from parents.
  • Feel overwhelmed, frustrated, or discouraged by everyday expectations.
  • Struggle to consistently apply strategies they already understand.
  • Would benefit from practical strategies, structured accountability, and support in becoming more independent.

This program is particularly valuable for families who want to move beyond constant reminders and develop a more sustainable approach to responsibility and independence.

Coaching focuses on executive functioning skill development and is not a substitute for psychotherapy, diagnostic assessment, or academic tutoring.

After Graduation — Continued Accountability

Completing the 12-week Focus Finder™ Signature Transformation marks an important milestone.

Students have developed a foundation of executive functioning strategies and have had repeated opportunities to apply them in real-life situations.

For graduates who would benefit from continued structure and accountability, the Graduate Accountability Program offers an optional next step.

This exclusive continuation program allows graduates to participate in live small-group sessions:

  • Tuesday: 7:00–7:50 PM Pacific Time
  • Wednesday: 7:00–7:50 PM Pacific Time

Graduates no longer need to attend the Monday one-on-one sessions.

Instead, they continue strengthening consistency, maintaining momentum, and practicing independent follow-through through structured group accountability.

The Graduate Accountability Program is available exclusively to students who have completed the Signature Transformation, ensuring that participants share a foundation of executive functioning strategies and expectations.

Enrollment in the Graduate Accountability Program is separate from the Signature Transformation.

Our Philosophy — Establish → Empower → Embrace

ESTABLISH: Build awareness, practical systems, routines, and a foundation for success.

EMPOWER: Help students develop confidence and apply strategies through guided practice, accountability, and increasing ownership.

EMBRACE: Encourage students to take responsibility, recognize their progress, and use their skills more independently in everyday life.

Progress is not measured simply by what a student can accomplish with a coach beside them, but by what they begin doing independently between sessions.

The goal is not perfection.

The goal is lasting progress, growing confidence, stronger relationships, and greater independence.

“Helping teens build the executive functioning skills they need.
Helping parents find the calm they've been searching for.”
