+++++ Baby, when we talk, the table talks back! +++++
Just as we gather around the kitchen table and confer with our loved ones, so too do the spirits here at the Talkin’ Table. The Twin Hoodoo Muthas prepare the table as a sacred crossroads [a meeting place] with a spiritual feast (offering, libation, song, and prayer) to honor and attract your beloved ancestors and spirit guides.
Proper invocation in a sacred setting stimulates the Spirit to commune with us and offer healing, transformative, and liberating messages to support your journey. At the end of the night, participants will enjoy a meal to help ground the physical body and aid the digestion of encounters, healings, and messages received.
Early Bird Tickets available for $250. Regular price is $350. Payment plans are available until 3/15. Space for The Talkin' Table is limited. Secure your spot today!
Hosted by the Twin Hoodoo Muthas:
Jeida K. Storey (she/her) is a preachin’ & teachin’ Hoodoo mutha, medium, and mystical midwife. She hails from the southside of Atlanta with roots that reach through the Deep South of Turtle Island including Georgia, Alabama, the Carolinas, and the Mississippi Delta. She is a spiritual empowerment life coach for folks who are ready to rebirth themselves and create new, liberating stories for their lives. Her work as a Hoodoo is to gently guide Blackfolk to themselves, their Ancestors, and their Guides.
She is 1/2 of the Twin Hoodoo Muthas with Docta Xolani--their work together serving as an extended ministry in the lineage of the Spiritualist Church Tradition as heralded by Mothers Leafy Anderson and Catherine Seals. They are a Traveling Church, bringing their two-headed sight and Hoodoo healing hands to a city near you!
Xolani (they/them) is a two-headed Hoodoo from the Swamplands of New Orleans, LA, and the backwoods of Picayune, MS & Talladega, AL. They are a medium, faith healer, teacher, and folk artist who has been laying hands since the age of 3.
Docta Xo is reclaiming ancestral systems of care and is engaged in deep study regarding how our spiritual technologies help us circumvent the medical industrial complex; develop our understanding of what is "healthy;" and evokes us to revive our spiritual immune systems individually + collectively.
As 1/2 of the Twin Hoodoo Muthas, they facilitate powerful in-person gatherings in partnership with Jeida K. Storey. We reach far and wide across Turtle Island to gather the people, dispense the medicine, and wake up the Hoodoo memory cells in the blessed Black body!
