Who This is For

This session is for leaders and professionals who are past the point of needing to be convinced that behavioral patterns matter. You already know your style affects your effectiveness. What you want is a thorough, expert-led examination of exactly how, and a clear map of what to do about it.

It's the right fit if you're in one of these situations:
  • You've had a 360 review, a tough performance conversation, or a feedback pattern that keeps recurring, and you want to understand the behavioral root, not just manage the symptom
  • You're preparing for a significant leadership transition and want a complete behavioral audit before you step into it
  • You lead a team and want to understand not just your own style but how it interacts with the styles around you
  • You've taken a DISC or personality assessment before and got a report you glanced at once...you want someone who actually knows what the data means to walk you through it
  • You're evaluating whether a longer coaching engagement makes sense, and you want the most complete picture possible before you decide

This session is not an introduction to DISC. If you're brand new to behavioral assessment and want a first conversation, the Breakthrough Session is a better starting point.

What You'll Come Away With

Your session includes the Behavioral Excellence Profile™ Extended...a 50-page DISC report covering your behavioral tendencies, communication style, natural motivators, stress responses, ideal work environment, value to the team, and development recommendations across multiple dimensions. Most people have never seen a DISC report at this level of detail. Most have certainly never had a PhD-level I/O psychologist work through one with them in real time.

By the end of 90 minutes, you'll have:

  • A thorough, expert interpretation of your full 50-page behavioral profile, not a summary of what the report says, but a precise translation of what the data means for how you actually operate
  • A clear picture of how your style plays out across the specific leadership contexts that matter most to you right now: team dynamics, communication, conflict, decision-making, and performance under pressure
  • An honest assessment of your two or three highest-leverage development priorities, with the behavioral evidence behind each one
  • A written post-session summary delivered within 48 hours, including your profile interpretation, development priorities, and three specific coaching recommendations
  • A clear answer to whether a longer coaching engagement is the right next step, and if so, what it should be built around

The written summary is not a formatted version of your report. It is a coaching document built specifically around what surfaced in your session.

What to Expect

Before the session, you'll complete your Behavioral Excellence Profile™ assessment online in about 10 minutes. Your 50-page Extended report will be delivered ahead of time, and I'll review it in full before we meet, so the 90 minutes will be spent entirely on analysis and application, not orientation.

The session runs in three parts. The first 30 minutes is a deep, expert-led interpretation of your profile, covering your primary and secondary styles, how they interact, and what that blend produces behaviorally in a leadership context. The Extended report gives us significantly more data to work with than a standard profile: ideal environment descriptors, value-to-team analysis, and behavioral tendency scales that surface patterns a shorter report doesn't capture. This is not a readout of your pages. It's a forensic conversation about what your data actually shows.

The middle 30 minutes are applied. We connect your behavioral profile to the specific situations you're navigating; the team tension, the communication challenge, the leadership gap, whatever brought you here. This is where 50 pages of data stop being abstract and start being actionable.

The final 30 minutes are strategic. We identify your development priorities, build the rationale for each one, and map a concrete path forward, whether that's a self-directed plan, a specific behavior change, or a structured coaching engagement.

Within 48 hours, you'll receive a written summary of everything we covered, including your development priorities and three specific coaching recommendations, formatted as a reference document you can return to.
Expect directness. Expect the conversation to move. If something in your data is worth naming, I'll name it.

How to Prepare

Complete your intake form & assessment honestly. The profile measures your natural behavioral tendencies; how you actually show up at work, especially under pressure, not how you'd like to show up on a good day. Answer based on your default behavior, not your aspirational behavior. A coached or idealized profile produces a less useful report and a less useful session. At 50 pages, the gap between honest answers and performed answers is impossible to hide.

Identify two or three situations you want to bring. Think of specific professional contexts where you've noticed your behavioral style creating friction, limiting your effectiveness, or producing results you didn't intend: the more concrete the example, the sharper the analysis. "I struggle with communication" is not a situation. "My direct report and I keep having the same unresolved conflict after every project review" is.

Read your report before we meet — all of it. Your 50-page Extended report will be delivered in advance. Read it fully, not to analyze it, but to notice your reactions across the full document. What resonates? What surprises you? What feels like it describes someone else? Bring those reactions. The places where you push back on the data are often the most productive places to start.

Give yourself transition time before the session. Ninety minutes of rigorous self-examination works better when you're not coming straight from back-to-back meetings. Build in 15 minutes before the session to arrive focused rather than distracted.

Come prepared to answer: Where is your behavioral style currently costing you the most, and what have you already tried to address it?
