EMPOWERED Recovery Roadmap: Private
A private 6-month program for women and men finishing breast cancer treatment, or already in survivorship, with Dr. Renata Braudy, PhD, PT, MA, MS, OCS, CLT
Your last treatment is on the calendar or has already come and gone. So why do you feel more anxious, not less?
For months, your life has run on appointments. Someone was always checking on you. You did everything you were asked to do, and you did it well. You chose your surgeon carefully. You asked the hard questions. You showed up.
Now the end is in sight, and everyone around you is ready to celebrate. You thought you would feel relieved. Instead, you're wondering: Who do I call if my arm swells? Is this tightness normal? Will I always feel this tired, or is this my body now? And who is watching once they stop seeing me every week?
Here's what usually happens next
The visits get farther apart, but your body is still changing. A tight cord under your arm can show up weeks after surgery. Skin and tissue can tighten months or even years after radiation. Tingling in your feet from chemo can linger and throw off your balance.
A new twinge feels too small to "bother" your oncologist with, so you wait. You search online at night and end up more worried. You hold back from reaching, lifting, and the activities you love because you aren't sure they're safe.
Maybe you tell yourself you should just feel grateful, and you don't want to be seen as a worrier. Or maybe you are just so tired of visits, tests, and the fear that comes with them that you tough it out alone. Then months later you're still unsure, still guarded, and still don't know who to turn to for answers.
It's not you. It's a gap in the system.
Cancer care is built to treat the cancer. It isn't built to guide you through what comes after. Your care team didn't drop you. They did their job. But treatment ended, and the side effects didn't.
What you need now isn't a packet of handouts. It's personal guidance: an expert by your side who knows this territory, gets to know you, and helps you turn it all into a plan, so you feel heard, supported, and confident as you return to your life.
Why me
For more than 20 years, I've helped men and women recover after breast cancer. I've built breast cancer rehabilitation programs that span three states, trained the clinicians who carry that work forward, and worked with thousands of survivors. I specialize in the side effects people are least prepared for, including lymphedema and radiation changes. Your medical team stays in charge. I work alongside them to better support you.
I've sat with so many people at exactly this moment, holding the same questions, fear, or anxiety you're holding now. You're not overreacting. You're paying attention, and you deserve to be heard and helped.
Your path: Validate, Educate, Empower
Month 1: Validate. Find Your Starting Point. Before we meet, you'll complete a private questionnaire about your treatment, your body, your worries, and what you want back. Our first session is about you, not a lesson plan. I listen, answer what's been keeping you up at night, and together we set your priorities, so you can finally exhale and know someone is with you for what comes next.
Months 2 to 4: Educate. Learn What Matters to Your Body. We work through the topics that matter for you, such as lymphedema, cording, shoulder and chest tightness, radiation changes, neuropathy, joint pain from hormone therapy, and fatigue. You'll learn what's expected, what isn't, what may help, and exactly when to call your care team, so you stop guessing and start trusting what your body is telling you.
Months 5 to 6: Empower. Build Your Roadmap for What Comes Next. We bring everything together into your personal Recovery Roadmap: what to watch for, what to keep doing, the questions to ask at your follow-ups, and who to contact for an assessment or care. About 1 to 2 months after we finish, I check in to make sure you're on track.
Six months from now
Picture your follow-up appointment with your oncologist. You walk in with your questions written down. You know what's normal for your body and what isn't. You're getting back to the things you love with a plan instead of fear. When something new comes up, you don't spiral. You know what it might be and who to call. Treatment ended, and you didn't lose your footing.
What it takes from you
Show up to your sessions. Ask your questions, big or small. Practice a few simple habits. You don't have to do this perfectly. You just have to keep going, and I'll be with you the whole way.
What's included
- Private intake questionnaire and confidence assessment
- 12 private 1-hour 1:1 video sessions, every other week for 6 months

Still in treatment? You can start now. Many people begin in the final weeks of treatment so support is in place before the visits slow down. We pace sessions around your energy, and nothing gets added to your to-do list. My job is to make survivorship simpler and clearer, so you feel empowered.
Is this right for you?
This program is for you if you want private, expert guidance and a clear plan, and you're ready to invest in your recovery the same way you invested in choosing your treatment team. It is a private, self-pay program, and I work with a small number of clients at a time so each one gets my full attention.
It isn't the right fit if you're looking for quick tips or a general class. My free webinar and resources are a great place to start for that.
The EMPOWERED Recovery Roadmap is education and guidance. It is not physical therapy or medical treatment, and it works alongside your medical team.
Cancer takes enough. Let's take control back together.
