Explore your coaching practice through a different lens.
You know the ICF Core Competencies. But knowing them and embodying them in your coaching conversations aren't always the same thing.
Sometimes it's hard to recognize what's happening in the moment. You may wonder why you responded a certain way, what you missed, or how you might approach a similar situation differently next time.
That's what we'll explore together in Brick by Brick Group Supervision.
A different way to reflect on your coaching
We'll use LEGO® Serious Play® to explore the ICF Core Competencies through hands-on thinking and reflection.
Each session, you'll be invited to:
- Explore an ICF Core Competency through a guided LEGO® Serious Play® build.
- Reflect on what your build reveals about you and your coaching practice.
- Share your discoveries and explore new perspectives through group supervision.
- Consider how you want to incorporate what you've discovered into your coaching conversations.
There are no right or wrong answers. And you don't need to be creative or know how to build anything impressive.
Just bring your curiosity and a willingness to explore.
Why LEGO® Serious Play®?
LEGO® Serious Play® was developed by the LEGO Group to inspire creativity, communication, and collaboration. Through building and storytelling, you can access insights that often remain hidden when relying only on words.
This isn’t about making something artistic or impressive. It’s a guided process that helps you think with your hands—slowing your thoughts, surfacing what’s beneath the surface, and giving shape to ideas you may not have been able to articulate before.
It’s thoughtful, interactive, and surprisingly fun!
What you'll take away
- Greater awareness of how you embody the ICF Core Competencies.
- New perspectives on your strengths, assumptions, and opportunities for growth.
- A deeper understanding of yourself and how you show up in coaching conversations.
- Ideas for what you want to explore or do differently in your coaching practice.

Testimonials
I enjoyed tremendously being part of Brick by Brick Group Mentor Coaching and Supervision experience. Crystal co-created with us a space filled with creative opportunities to practice our hands-on thinking skills with LEGO builds about each ICF competency. I deeply appreciated her thought-provoking interventions as a coach supervisor, modeling curiosity, direct communication, and responsiveness. If you want to embody the ICF competencies, this is a wonderful opportunity to expand in your reflective practice and to refine your coaching skills.
