Meet Your Coach
I'm Carla R. Cannon-Lawrence, affectionately known as Coach Carla, a Certified Trauma Recovery & Identity Reconstruction Coach, bestselling author, psychology student, and host of Healing Conversations with Carla.
For more than 14 years, I've worked with women navigating healing, identity, relationships, life transitions, and the complicated process of reconnecting with themselves after years of surviving, adapting, and becoming who they needed to be for everyone else.
My coaching approach blends lived experience, psychology-informed education, mindset and perspective exploration, intentional reflection, and practical tools. Many of the ways you've learned to think, respond, disconnect, people-please, overthink, or protect yourself may make more sense when viewed through the context of what you've experienced.
My role isn't to stand over you pretending I have all the answers to your life.
I ask deeper questions, help you recognize what's showing up, offer coaching insight and practical tools, and support you as you strengthen your ability to hear and trust yourself more clearly.

This package includes (6) one-hour Breakthrough Strategy Sessions designed to help you gain clarity, address patterns, and create intentional, sustainable change. Sessions are personalized, focused, and rooted in both insight and action.
Who is this coaching package best for?
This package is ideal for individuals who are ready to move beyond surface-level conversations and commit to growth, healing, and personal accountability. It’s for those who want consistency, depth, and real transformation over time.
Is this coaching or therapy?
This is a coaching-based experience, not therapy or crisis support. Coaching focuses on awareness, mindset, strategy, and forward movement, while honoring your lived experiences and goals.
How are the sessions scheduled and delivered?
Sessions are 60 minutes each and conducted via Zoom or phone, based on your preference. Scheduling instructions will be provided after purchase, and sessions are typically spaced weekly or biweekly for best results.
Can I use my HSA or FSA card to pay for coaching sessions?
At this time, HSA/FSA cards are typically approved only for medical or therapeutic services. Because coaching is not considered medical or mental health treatment, HSA/FSA cards are generally not accepted. We recommend checking directly with your HSA/FSA provider to confirm eligibility before booking.
